Respecting Parents

 July 31, 2024

Verse of the day - Exodus 20:12 (NRSV)

Honour your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the land that the LORD your God is giving you.

In chapter 10 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about respecting our parents.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Respect your parents.  I choose them to be your parents for a reason.  By listening to them you can learn many great things.  They will take care of you when you are young; therefore, I ask that you do the same when they grow old.  If you feel like you have been abandoned by your parents, remember you can turn to Me and My Mother for guidance.  You have earthly parents, but we are your Heavenly parents.  I am your Heavenly Father and Mary is your heavenly Mother.  We will always be here for you.

God has chosen the parents we have for a reason.  They take care of us when we are young.  Jesus asks us to help take care of them when they grow old.  Sometimes during life we may feel as though we have been abandoned by our earthly parents.  If this happens, Jesus has said that we can turn to Him and His Mother Mary for guidance.  They will always be there for us in our time of need.

Becoming Servants

 July 30, 2024

Verse of the day - Mark 10:45 (NRSV)

For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about becoming servants to one another.

Excerpt from Called By God

My dear children, I send you among others to help lead them back to Me.  Just as I was a servant to  My disciples, I also desire My dear children to be servants to one another.  Whatever you do for others, you also do for Me.  I live inside everyone.

We have been called by God to help one another on our journey through life.  We were all created by God for this very purpose.  At the Last Supper, Jesus became a servant to His disciples as an example of how He desires us to serve one another.  When we serve one another, we are also serving God.

Crucified With Christ

July 29, 2024

Verses of the day -  Galatians 2:19-20

For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God.  I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me.  And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

In chapter 5 of my third book, Jesus tells us what it means to be crucified with Him.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

When you become crucified with Me, it means that you become one with Me.  You will no longer follow the ways of the world.  You will follow in My steps and share the light of life.  The world will persecute you for your beliefs but have no fear for I am with you always.  In this world you will face persecution but through My resurrection from the dead, I overcame the world.  Be strong in your faith and do not be discouraged.  Follow Me every step of the way.

Jesus desires us to be crucified with Him.  When we become crucified with Christ, we change our ways and become one with Him.  We will experience a new way of life by following Christ instead of mankind.  We will become committed to serving Jesus.  When we do this, we will be leading other people to the Light Of Christ.

Leading The Lost Back To Jesus

 July 28, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 7:15 (NRSV)

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

In chapter 1 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about leading others back to Him.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I long for My lost children to come back to Me.  It is up to My dear children to lead the lost back to Me.  I desire you to preach My words to everyone.  Be not afraid to speak up on My behalf.  Your reward will be great in Heaven.  Sometimes My dear children will be led astray by false teachers.  They may sound like they are real teachers of My Words, but they are not.  Remain strong in Me so that you will be able to discern the difference between the two.  Discern by praying to Me about what you hear.  If you get a sense of peace, it is of Me, but if through your prayers something brings you uneasiness, then it is not of Me.

It is the desire of Jesus that everyone who knows Him as their Lord and Savior to help spread His Words.  There are many in the world today who do not know Him as their Lord and Savior. It is up to us to help lead the way.  Jesus desires us to be bold and proclaim our faith to others so that they too may experience His great love and mercy.

Do Not Let Fear Keep Us Apart

 July 27, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 51:1 (NRSV)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.

In chapter 6 of my first book, Jesus tells us that fear is the work of the devil.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Come into My loving Presence and let Me release you of all your sins.  There is no need to fear for I will forgive all sins, great and small.  Do not let fear keep us apart.  Fear is the work of the devil.  He desires you to be fearful.  When you are fearful and worry about things of this world, the devil has control of you.  Do not allow him to do this.  Stand up and be firm against the tactics of the devil.  Once you confess your sins to Me, you will  be set free from the grip of the devil.

As humans, it is normal for us to be fearful and worry about different things.  Jesus has told us that this is the work of the devil.  When we worry and become fearful of different things, the devil has control over our thought life.  In Ephesians 6:12 it says: For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.  In Ephesians verse 16 it tells us that we need to take the shield of faith, with which we will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  When we are strong in our faith, we will be able to defend ourselves against whatever the devil may try to throw our way.  Through the power of God, the devil will be defeated and we will come out victoriously.

The Eternal Joys Of Heaven

 July 26, 2024

Verses of the day - Exodus 20:2-3 (NRSV)

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery; you shall have no other gods before me.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about dwelling with Him forever in Paradise.

Excerpt from Called By God

When you follow My Commandments, you shall dwell with Me forever in Paradise.  Be not afraid to follow My Ways.  Even if people come against you, your reward will be great.  Be bold in proclaiming My Words.  Lead others to Me so that they too, can enjoy the Eternal Joys of Heaven.

When we follow the Ten Commandments and believe in Jesus, we will one day be in Heaven. Jesus desires us to be bold in proclaiming His Words to everyone we meet.  Even though some people may not agree with us, we should not be afraid to follow His Ways.  Through sharing God's Word and our faith with one another, we will be able to lead others back to Jesus.  Everyone who knows Him as their Lord and Savior will one day enjoy the Eternal Joys of Heaven.

The Cross Of Christ

 July 25, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 27:46 (NRSV)

And about three o'clock Jesus cried with a loud voice, 'Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?' that is, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'

In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about His Crucifixion.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

While I was on the cross dying for the sins of the world, I cried out to My Father in Heaven.  I did the Will of My Father in Heaven to save My dear children from the sins of the world.  I was the spotless Lamb who was crucified for the sake of mankind.  Before I went to the cross and died, My dear children would bring sacrifices before the altar.  It was required of them to shed the blood of bulls and goats.  Through this sacrifice and through prayer, the sins of My dear children were forgiven.  Even though their sins were forgiven, I came to this earth as a human sacrifice.  Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve.  I came so all may have true redemption from their sins.  Come to the cross and believe in Me so that you may be saved from final condemnation.

Let us all come before the cross and receive God's great love and mercy.  Jesus poured out His very own Blood on the cross for us so that we may come before Him and be saved from our sins.  His love endures forever.  To God be the Glory!  Thanks be to God for sacrificing Himself unselfishly so that we may live forever in Heaven with Him.  What a day of rejoicing that will be!

Living Securely With God

 July 24, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 37:5 (NRSV)

Commit your ways to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.

In chapter 7 of my second book, Jesus tells us that we will live securely when we trust in Him.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

When you trust in Me, you will live securely.  You will be protected by My Precious Blood.  I will not allow anything to happen to you that we cannot handle together.  Take Me by the hand and allow Me to lead and guide you through life.  Life can be scary but when I lead you to where you need to be, you have nothing to fear.  Learn to trust in Me.  I will always lead you in the right direction.

When we trust in Jesus and allow Him to take us by the hand, He will always lead us in the right direction.  Throughout life we will experience things that are scary but with Jesus by our side we will be able to make it through whatever it is that we may face.  Through His Precious Blood, we will be protected from harm.

Becoming Reconciled

 July 23, 2024

Verse of the day - Luke 15:32 (NRSV)

But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.

In chapter 7 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about becoming reconciled with one another.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

It is by becoming reconciled with one another, that the devil loses his grip.  He will no longer be able to control your emotions.  You will feel overwhelming joy when you learn to love your neighbor as yourself.  Be kind to one another, and love one another as I have loved you.

When we forgive one another for things that have been said or done, we will receive peace in our hearts.  The devil thrives on the fact that we sometimes hold grudges and are unforgiving of one another.  Once we achieve being able to forgive one another for past hurts, we will be free from the grip of the devil.  We will then receive overwhelming  joy, peace, and freedom from knowing that we have reconciled with one another.  Being able to reconcile with one another is a gift from God.

The Way To The Father

July 22, 2024

Verse of the day - John 14:6 (NRSV)

Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me.'

In chapter 7 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that He is the way to the Father.

Excerpt from Called By God

I am the way to the Father.  Everyone who believes in Me will spend eternity with Me in Heaven.  I have many great things prepared for you when you come home to Me.  There will be great rejoicing on this day.  You will see Me face to face.

Only through Jesus can we get to Heaven.  He shed His Blood upon the cross to save us from our sins.  When we come to believe in Jesus, we will spend eternity with Him in Heaven.  This will be a day of great rejoicing! We are only on earth for a little while.  As we journey through life, we prepare ourselves to one day meet Jesus face to face.  Life on earth is temporary, Heaven is forever! I look forward to the day that I can meet my Maker, face to face!

Becoming One With Christ

 July 21, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 24:9 (NRSV)

But anyone who endures to the end will be saved.

In chapter 5 of my third book, Jesus explains what it means to become crucified with Him.

Allowing God To Work Through Us

 July 20, 2024

Verse of the day - Galatians 6:8 (NRSV)

If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

In chapter 4 of my second book, Jesus desires us to speak up on His behalf.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I desire My dear children to love one another.  Be caring and kind to everyone you meet.  You never know how you will impact another person's life.  Allow Me to work through you.  If I give you words to speak, do not be afraid to speak up.  I give you these words for a reason.  Though you may not understand what that reason is, if you spread the words I give you, many people will benefit from them.  Be not afraid, for I will always go before you.

Many times, we as humans are afraid to speak up on God's behalf. God will send people into our path to help during our lives.  We never know the type of impact we will have on another person's life if we take the time to speak to them.  There have been times when God has given me words to say to someone else.  At the time I had no idea why, but I went ahead and said the words that were spoken to me.  It was always what the person needed to hear at the time, and it brought them comfort.

Speaking Kind Words To Everyone

 July 19, 2024

Verse of the day - Ephesians 4:25 (NRSV)

So then, putting away falsehood, let all of us speak the truth to our neighbours, for we are members of one another.

In chapter 8 of my first book, Jesus tells us that we need to treat everyone with respect.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Be kind to everyone you meet.  Love one another as I love you.  Treat everyone with respect.  I bring everyone into your life for a reason.  Some may be for a short time and others are for your entire life.  Everyone you meet is your neighbor.  If I give you words to speak to them, be not afraid to speak up.  I give you words to speak for a reason.  Sometimes these are the only kind words spoken to them all day.  You never know what kind of impact you will have on another person's life.

When we speak to our neighbors, we need to speak to them in love.  Share the truth of Christ with them that they may see the light of Christ.  Our neighbors are not only the people who live next door to us, but also everyone we meet throughout the day.  Sometimes we will get a nudge from the Holy Spirit to say or do something for a particular person.  We may not know what to say, or why we are supposed to do a certain thing but Jesus does.  If we follow the nudge from the Holy Spirit, they will be blessed without us even knowing it.

Finding Our Way Back To God

 July 17, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 18:12-14 (NRSV)

What do you think?  If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?  And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than the ninety-nine that never went astray.  So it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.

In chapter 5 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us there is much rejoicing in Heaven when those who have lost their way find their way back to Him.

Excerpt from Called By God

My dear children, there is much rejoicing in Heaven when those who are lost find their way back to Me, The Good Shepherd.  I watch over My flock always.  Everyone strays from My flock sometime during their life.  I will always send someone to you to help lead you back to Me.  I desire no one to be lost at the end of time.  Be bold in your faith so that you may be able to help My other dear children find their way to Me.  Take a stand against evil ways.  I am the Good Shepherd, and I laid down My life in order to save the souls of this world.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd.  He leads and guides us in the right direction.  If we follow His voice, we will never be lost.  When we follow the ways of the world, we are like the lost sheep which Jesus spoke about.  At some point in our lives, we are all like lost sheep without a shepherd.  A sheep is lost when it does not recognize the voice of its shepherd.  When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will recognize His voice and follow in His Ways.  When we know Jesus, He asks us to lead others to Him.

Preparing The Way Of The Lord

 July 16, 2024

Verse of the day - John 1:23 (NRSV)

He said, 'I am the voice of the one crying out in the wilderness, "Make straight the way of the Lord" ' , as the prophet Isaiah said.

In chapter 2 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about preparing the way for Him.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Come to My Most Sacred and Merciful Heart.  I give My Divine Mercy freely to all who come to Me.  Just as John prepared the way for Me, I desire My dear children to prepare others for My second coming.  Share My love with them.  Allow them to come to know My Merciful Heart through you.  Just as I show mercy to you, I ask that you show mercy to others.  Forgive others as I have forgiven you.  When you show mercy to others, more mercy will be shown to you.

Sharing God's Love

 July 15, 2024

Verses of the day - 1 John 2:15-16 (NRSV)

Do not love the world or the things in the world.  The love of the Father is not in those who love the world; for all that is in the world - the desire of the flesh, the desire of the eyes, the pride in riches - comes not from the Father but from the world.

In chapter 7 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about sharing His love with everyone around us.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Trust in My Ways.  I will never lead you astray.  It is My desire that everyone draws closer to Me.  When you come to know Me as Lord and Savior, it is My desire that you share My love with everyone around you.  Allow My love to penetrate deeply into the hearts of all you meet.  Trust that I will show you the way to lead others to Me.  Share My great love with the world so many may come to Me.  This is My desire, that no one may be lost at the end of time!  Come to Me.  Allow Me to wrap My loving arms around you like a parent, for I am your Heavenly Father.  I love everyone the same.  I desire My dear children to do the same.

The True Lamb Of God

 July 14, 2024

Verse of the day - John 1:29 (NRSV)

The next day he saw Jesus coming towards him and declared, 'Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

In chapter 4 of my first book, Jesus declares to us that He is the True Lamb of God.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Only the true Lamb of God can take away your sins.  I am He.  Just like the lambs that are silent before the shears, I took was silent before the soldiers who nailed Me to the cross.  I opened not My mouth because I knew it was the Will of My Father in Heaven.  The people who lived at the same time as Me believed that by slaughtering lambs and using their blood as a sacrifice, it would save them from their sins.  It did not.  It is by My own Blood that sins are forgiven.  The soldiers who crucified Me were too blind to realize this until after I died on the cross.  The darkness fell over the entire land where I was crucified.  It was by this darkness that they realized what they had done.  I forgave them anyways.  It is by My dying on the cross that sins for the entire world are forgiven.  Will you not come before Me, and acknowledge that I am the true Lamb of God?

Jesus is the true Lamb of God.  Several centuries ago, back in the time of Jesus, lambs were used as a sacrifice for sins.  They were slaughtered and people thought that the blood of the lamb would save them from their sins, but it did not.  There is only one Lamb that saves people from their sins.  That is Jesus.  Jesus, who is God's Son, is the unblemished lamb.  He who is without sin, went to the cross to save the world from sin.  Without His crucifixion, there would be no redemption. Like the lambs that were slaughtered, Christ was also.  He opened not His mouth and did the will of His Father in Heaven.  This is what is meant by saying that Jesus is the Lamb of God.  His Blood saves all people from their sins.  It does not matter when we live on earth.  Whether it is the past, present, or future generations, all people can be saved through the Blood of Jesus.

True Love

 July 13, 2024

Verse of the day - 1 John 3:16 (NRSV)

We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us - and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.

In chapter 7 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us what true love is.

Excerpt from Called By God

Blessed are My dear children when they walk in the ways of My love.  No one knows the meaning of true love.  I showed My true love for My dear children when I died on the cross for the sins of the world.  There is not greater love than this.  Be at peace My dear children.  My love never ends.

God's love is everlasting.  He loves us so much that He sacrificed His life for us by dying on the cross.  This is what true love looks like.  Jesus calls us to love one another in the same way.  Through bad experiences, many people do not know what it is like to be loved.  If we step out in faith and help one another, those who once felt unlovable will feel God's love through us.  This is how God's love will spread throughout the world.  When we share God's love with one another, they in turn will share what they experienced with others.

Sharing The Light Of Christ

 July 12, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 5:14 (NRSV)

You are the light of the world.  A city built on a hill cannot be hidden.

In chapter 9 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about sharing His Light with others.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

My dear children, it is My great desire that My love is shared with everyone you know.  Many of My dear children live in a dark world.  They do not see any light in situations because they do not yet know Me as their Lord and Savior.  Many times, it is because nobody has ever shared My love with them.  When you know Me personally, share the light of My love with them.  Tell them about the great love I have for them.  Many times, My dear children lack the light of love because nobody has ever shared it with them.  By sharing the light of your love, others will receive hope.

We are the light of the world and Jesus desires us to let our faith shine brightly for others.  We are given the light of Christ at Baptism.  As we grow older, we learn about the love of Jesus from others.  When we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, it is our responsibility to share the love of God with others.

Bringing Others To Christ

 July 11, 2024

Verse of the day - John 5:24 (NRSV)

Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come under judgement, but has passed from death to life.

In chapter 2 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about spreading His Words.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I do not wish for any of My beloved children to be lost forever.  Please come back to Me before it is too late!  For My dear children who are already saved, I beg you to urgently spread My Words among family and friends so they may come to know Me as their Lord and Savior as well.  This should be everyone's goal in life, to bring others back to Me.

We should never be afraid to speak up on behalf of Jesus.  This is the reason we were put on earth, so that we may be able to draw others to Christ.  It may be scary to proclaim God's Word and love to one another at first, but in time it will become easier.  This is what we are called to do.  When we are afraid and do not know what words to say, if we call on the name of Jesus, He will give us the answers we need.  With Jesus by our side, there is no need to fear.

Saved By Grace

 July 10, 2024

Verse of the day - Wisdom 3:9 (NRSV)

Those who trust in him will understand truth, and the faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and mercy are upon his holy ones, and he watches over his elect.

In chapter 1 of my first book, Jesus tells us that the only way to be saved is through His grace.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

When you do not listen to My voice and follow the ways of the world, you are dead in your trespasses.  By following the ways of the world, you sin against Me.  Many times My dear children believe that they are saved by the good deeds they do.  This is not so.  It does not matter how many good deeds you do for one another.  The only way to be saved is through My grace.  Believe in Me and I will give you everlasting life.

A Man Of Great Faith

July 9, 2024

Verse of the day - John 3:16

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

In chapter 3 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks about Abraham.

Excerpt from Called By God

Abraham was a man of great faith.  Even when I asked him to sacrifice his only son, he did not hesitate to do so.  It was only when the angel called to him that he did not sacrifice his only son.  I provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice in place of his son.

Just as Isaac carried the wood on his back, I too carried the wood of the cross on My back.  I sacrificed Myself for the sake of mankind.

Abraham trusted God enough to offer Isaac as a sacrifice.  God did this to test Abraham to see how faithful he was.  Just as Abraham was willing to give up his only son, God the Father in Heaven gave up His Only Son so that we may be saved from eternal condemnation.

Lay Your Burdens Down

 July 8, 2024

Verses of the day - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.  Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

In chapter 6 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about laying our burdens down.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Nobody knows the types of crosses another person carries.  By loving your neighbor as yourself, many times the burdens of their life can be relieved.  I ask My dear children to help one another on their journey through life.  Love one another as I have loved you.  Be there for one another as I have also been there for you.  I am always here for all My beloved children.  Come to the cross and lay your burdens down.  I love you and you are Mine.  Come and receive My love.

In life we face many trials.  We never know what type of burden another person carries with them through this life.  Jesus has asked us to love our neighbor as ourselves.  Our neighbor is not only the person who lives next door to us.  Our neighbor is everyone we meet throughout the day.  If we are loving and kind to one another, we never know what type of impact we will have on someone else's life.  By being there for one another in both good times and bad, we can make life better.

The Body Of Christ

 July 7, 2024

Verse of the day - Luke 22:19 (NRSV)

Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body, which is given for you.  Do this in remembrance of me.'

In chapter 11 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about the His true presence in the Eucharist.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

There are many among you who do not yet believe in the true presence of My Body in the Eucharist.  This hurts Me deeply.  It is My desire that everyone comes to believe that I am truly present.  I desire to become one with you.  When you become one with Me, you will begin to act more like Me.  You will become more loving.  Be not afraid to stand up for your faith.  Anytime you begin to doubt, come to Me through the Eucharist.  I will restore your life.  Have faith in Me, not in mankind.  Other humans may have good intentions but only I know your situation inside and out.  Come into My loving presence.  I am always present in the Holy Eucharist, but I am also present in the Tabernacle.  Come before the Tabernacle and offer Me the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving.

Many times, while on earth, we as humans desire to have much food.  With this food, Jesus said that we will still be hungry.  This type of food does not last.  The type of food that we should desire is the food from Heaven.  Jesus is the Bread of Life.  He was sent to earth by His Father in Heaven so that everyone may achieve eternal life.  When we consume the Holy Eucharist, we are taking Jesus into our heart.  He comes to us in the form of the Eucharist so that He can remain with us until the end of time.  Each time we take Jesus into our heart through the Eucharist, we become more and like our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Stand Out From The Crowd

 July 6, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 19:1 (NRSV)

The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.

In chapter 5 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about following the Ten Commandments.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

My love for you is great.  The laws that I give you are for your benefit.  By following My commandments, you will grow in faith and knowledge.  Be not afraid to be different from other people.  If you follow Me, your life will stand out from the crowd.  Over time, other people will notice the joy that you have in the Lord.  They will then desire to receive that same joy.  Be not afraid to share with them.  This is how My love spreads over all of the earth.  It will be passed down from generation to generation.  I ask that you continue to spread the light of eternal salvation any way you can.

Jesus gave us the Ten Commandments to follow.  If we follow His Commandments, we remain in His love.  That does not mean that God will quit loving us or disown us if we break one of His Commandments.  His love is everlasting, and He knows that we sin.  What it does mean is that when we sin, we draw ourselves away from God's love.  Jesus never leaves us, nor will He forsake us.  We are the ones that leave God.  By our sins, we distance ourselves from Him.  God is love.  This is why we say that if we keep the Ten Commandments, we remain in His love.

Molded Into God's Image

 July 5, 2024

Verse of the day - Jeremiah 18:4 (NRSV)

The vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as seemed good to him.

In chapter 8 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about being molded into His image.

Excerpt from Called By God

Be like clay in My hands.  Just as the potter at the wheel works with the clay in his hands to mold it into what he desires it to be, so do I.  Allow Me to mold you into My image.  Step by step, you will grow to be more like Me.  Do not be afraid to do as I ask.  I will lead the way.

If we allow ourselves to be like clay, Jesus will be able to mold us into what He desires us to be.  He desires us to be open to His calling.  We are all called by God in different ways.  When we discover what our calling is, we should follow God's lead and do as we are asked to do.

Persistence In Prayer

 July 4, 2024

Verses of the day - Luke 11:9-10 (NRSV)

So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.  For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about the importance of asking Him for what we need.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Many times, My dear children do not have what they desire because they do not ask.  It is My desire that My dear children come before Me with their needs.  Come and be united with Me in prayer.

When we humble ourselves before God, and kneel in prayer, we shall receive an answer from God.  Sometimes it may not be the answer we were wanting, but it will always be the right answer.  God always answers according to His Will and in His timing.  Our ways are not His Ways.  Come, let us all become persistent in prayer.  If we continue our prayers before God, and do not give up, we will get an answer.

Here For A Reason

 July 3, 2024

Verses of the day - 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NRSV)

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and through grace gave us eternal comfort and good hope, comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word.

In chapter 2 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about helping one another.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I always bring new people into your life.  Everyone you meet is there for a reason.  I call you to a life of service.  Many times, My dear children miss their calling in life because they do not hear My voice.  Be not afraid to do what I ask of you.  People will come and go.  Sometimes I send someone to you for a lifetime.  When I take someone away from you, it means that you have done what I have asked of you.  Many times, My dear children help one another without even realizing it.  When you feel something deep inside of you to do something for someone else, please be assured that it is the Holy Spirit within you urging you to help a certain person.  You never know how that urging will bless the other person.  Not only do I bless them, but I also bless you.

We have been chosen by God to proclaim the Good News of Salvation.  He desires us to spread His Words among everyone we meet.  Anytime we get a nudge from the Holy Spirit to say or do something, we need to listen to what God is calling us to do.  Many times, we will be the only person who will take the time to be with that person and listen to them.

Be Strong In Your Faith

 July 2, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 32:1 (NRSV)

Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

In chapter 6 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about being strong in our faith.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Take control, be strong in your faith, and know that you are forgiven.  Allow My Precious Blood to flow over you and heal you of all your transgressions.  By doing this, you will find overwhelming joy and freedom.  You will see life in a new light.  Everything will become brighter and no matter what happens in your life, nothing will be able to get you down.

There is indeed great joy when our sins are forgiven.  This was only made possible through the Blood of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  It was through the Blood that Jesus shed on the cross that frees us from the condemnation of our sins.  We need to take advantage of the opportunities we have to confess our sins.  It is through the Blood of our Loving Father in Heaven that we are forgiven.

I understand the power of forgiveness that comes through the sacrament of Reconciliation.  One Wednesday morning I got up for the day.  I was in my living room when I heard the words, "You need to go to confession today." I thought okay and then I thought about waiting.  I then heard, "NO! You cannot wait! You have to go today." I had no idea why but I then said okay and went.  That day when I walked out of the confessional after having received forgiveness through the sacrament of Reconciliation, I felt a tremendous peace that I had never felt before.  Later that day, I heard the words, "Since you listened, you are going to be really sore from an accident but everyone will be okay."  Three days later someone pulled out in front of us and we totaled our car.  It is only by the grace of God that I am still here today!

God's Greatest Gift

 July 1, 2024

Verse of the day - John 3:16 (NRSV)

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

In chapter 7 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about His great love.

Excerpt from Called By God

I revealed My love to the world when I sacrificed Myself on the cross.  There is no greater love than this.  It is through the shedding of My Blood alone that everyone who believes in Me will be saved.  Come to the cross and allow My life saving Blood to pour out over you.  Receive it graciously, for I alone can save you.  Be at peace My dear children.

There is no greater love than the love Jesus has for us.  He gave up His life so that we may be saved from final condemnation.  All we need to do is come to the cross and believe in Him.  Through His Precious Blood alone can we be saved.
