Verse of the day - Jeremiah 18:4 (NRSV)
The vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter's hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as seemed good to him.
In chapter 8 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about being molded into His image.
Excerpt from Called By God
Be like clay in My hands. Just as the potter at the wheel works with the clay in his hands to mold it into what he desires it to be, so do I. Allow Me to mold you into My image. Step by step, you will grow to be more like Me. Do not be afraid to do as I ask. I will lead the way.
If we allow ourselves to be like clay, Jesus will be able to mold us into what He desires us to be. He desires us to be open to His calling. We are all called by God in different ways. When we discover what our calling is, we should follow God's lead and do as we are asked to do.
