Verse of the day - Luke 15:32 (NRSV)
But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.
In chapter 7 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about becoming reconciled with one another.
Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul
It is by becoming reconciled with one another, that the devil loses his grip. He will no longer be able to control your emotions. You will feel overwhelming joy when you learn to love your neighbor as yourself. Be kind to one another, and love one another as I have loved you.
When we forgive one another for things that have been said or done, we will receive peace in our hearts. The devil thrives on the fact that we sometimes hold grudges and are unforgiving of one another. Once we achieve being able to forgive one another for past hurts, we will be free from the grip of the devil. We will then receive overwhelming joy, peace, and freedom from knowing that we have reconciled with one another. Being able to reconcile with one another is a gift from God.
