Finding Peace During Trials

 September 30, 2024

Verse of the day - John 20:21 (NRSV)

Jesus said to them again, 'Peace be with you.  As the Father has sent me, so I send you.'

In chapter 6 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about finding peace during our trials.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

I was persecuted greatly by others.  If I was persecuted, so too will you be.  Be prepared to face many trials and tribulations when you become My followers.  Remember that you are not alone.  Come to the cross during your trials.  It is here where you will find comfort and peace.

During our times of trial and suffering, if we come to the Cross of Christ, He will bring us peace and comfort.  It is difficult to face situations on our own.  The GOOD NEWS is that we do not need to face anything by ourselves.  We often speak to others about the problems we are facing and that is okay.  We can find comfort in speaking to others but the peace we find is only temporary.  If we take the time to bring everything that we are facing to the Cross of Christ, Jesus will lift our burdens off of our shoulders and give us a peace that surpasses all understanding.  The peace that Jesus offers us is like no other.

Fears And Struggles

 September 29, 2024

Verse of the day - John 16:33 (NRSV)

I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace.  In the world you face persecution.  But take courage; I have conquered the world!

In chapter 3 of my second book, Jesus tells many of us share the same fears and struggles as His disciples did when He walked on earth.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Many of My disciples today have the same fears and struggles as My disciples did when I walked on this earth.  Many times, they were afraid to speak up for fear of death.  Back then many people were martyred on My behalf.  In time, My original twelve disciples became bold in proclaiming My Good News.  This did not happen until after My death on the cross and the resurrection from the dead.  After I was convicted and sentenced to death on the cross, My disciples left Me and went into hiding because of fear.  However, John stayed by My side through it all.  After I died, they were together in a room with the windows and doors locked in fear that the Jews would find them and kill them.  Even though the doors were locked, I came and stood in their midst.  This terrified them greatly because they thought they were seeing a ghost.  I assured them that it was Me. I even showed them My hands and My side where they had pierced Me.  My disciples were all gathered for this experience except for Thomas.  After My visit with them, they were overjoyed.

Back in the time of Jesus, the twelve disciples were ordinary people chosen by Jesus, Himself, to carry on His work after He went to the cross and died for our sins.  They had three years of training before they were on their own.  They too, had many doubts and fears about doing the work of Jesus.  Just as the disciples were called to do the work of Jesus after He died on the cross, we have also been called to share the Good News of Salvation with others. We should not allow fear to keep us from doing God's Work.  He will always be with us, and guide us every step of the way.  If we do not know what to say, if we say a prayer to Jesus, He will put the words in our mouth that He desires us to speak on His behalf.

Being Proud Of Your Success

 September 28, 2024

Verse of the day - Proverbs 16:18 (NRSV)

Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.

In chapter 5 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about pride.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

How I desire My dear children to stay away from being too proud of themselves.  It is only by Me that you achieve great things.  Many times when someone becomes successful in life, they feel like it was all due to their hard work.  This is not the case.  I have a hand in everything you do.  Do not forget that.  It's okay to be proud of what you accomplish in life, just do not forget about Me.

Pride is when we think too highly of ourselves.  This is one of the most common sins that needs to be uprooted from our hearts.  It's okay to be proud of our achievements but we must remember that God is the one who makes all things possible.  Pride is a dangerous thing when it causes us to become self-centered.  When we become self-centered, we accept the credit for everything we have achieved and do not give any credit to God.  This is something that needs to be avoided.  We must always remember to give glory and attention to God when we achieve great things.

Beware Of Wolves And Lions

 September 27, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 7:15 (NRSV)

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

In chapter 5 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about the wolves and lions that may come into our lives.

Excerpt from Called By God

I laid down My life for the sake of the world.  A good shepherd lays down their life in order to protect their sheep from the danger of wolves and lions.  I am the Good Shepherd.  I sacrificed My life on the cross so that My dear children may be saved from final condemnation.  There are many wolves and lions in the lives of My dear children.  There are those living among My dear children who try to get them to travel down the wrong path in life.  Please be aware.  If what you are told does not match My Words in The Bible please know that it is not of Me.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd and we are the sheep.  Sheep are lost without a shepherd.  They know the Shepherd's voice and follow Him.  Jesus has told us that we need to be aware of the wolves and lions in our lives.  These are the people who try to get us to go astray.  When we study what is in The Bible, we will know what it says and will be able to stand up to false teachings.

Be Open To God's Great Love

 September 26, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 25:4 (NRSV)

Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.

In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about being open.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Come before Me and receive My great love and mercy.  Many of My dear children do not feel worthy of My Love.  I give it freely to you.  Be open to My great love.  Be not afraid to open your mind and heart to what I have for you.  When you open your mind and heart, many great things will happen.  If you are open to hearing the words I speak to you, many will be saved.

When we are open to hearing the words of Jesus, God will be able to use us in a mighty way.  Through His guidance, we will be able to lead others to Him so that they too may be saved.  We never know how we will touch another person's life.

Plant A Seed Of Hope

 September 25, 2024

Verses of the day -  Matthew 13:31-32 (NRSV)

He put before them another parable: 'The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and showed in his field; it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.'

In chapter 6 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about planting seeds.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

If you see someone who has lost their way, gently take them by the hand and lead them back to Me, The Divine Shepherd.  If you plant a seed of hope and love in them, over time I will allow it to grow.  Then after the seed of love and faith grows, they will in turn pass it on to someone else.

If we see someone who is struggling with their faith-life, we can plant a seed of hope in them by sharing the experiences that we have had.  By sharing our God Moments with others, many times they will be given a glimmer of hope.  If we plant seeds, in time God will make them grow.

Being Truthful To Ourselves

 September 23, 2024

Verse of the day - Ephesians 6:14 (NRSV)

Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness.

In chapter 7 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about the belt of truth.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

When I ask you to put on the belt of truth, I am wanting you to be truthful to yourself.  Do not be afraid to do what is right.  There are many people who will try to get you to stray away from the things which you know are right.  They will try to get you to follow the ways of the world instead of My Ways.  My Ways are higher than your ways.  Be strong and follow Me.  I will lead and guide you to new heights in your spiritual lives.

The belt of truth is part of putting on the whole Armor of God.  When we put on the Armor of God, we are preparing ourselves to withstand the works of the devil.  God's Armor is our protection against the evil that exists in this world.  We must stand up for what we believe in and proclaim the truth that is revealed to us through the gospel.  When we put on the belt of truth, we will not give in to what the world believes to be right.

No Limit To Forgiveness

 September 22, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 18:21-22 (NRSV)

Then Peter came and said to him, 'Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive?  As many as seven times?'  Jesus said to him, 'Not seven times, but I tell you, seventy-seven times.

In chapter 3 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about forgiveness.

Excerpt from Called By God

Peter asked Me how often he must forgive someone.  He thought that he could put a number on the times someone should be forgiven.  If there is unforgiveness in My dear children's heart, forgiveness needs to be given again.  There is no limit to how many times someone can be forgiven.

Jesus showed us His great love and mercy when He sacrificed Himself on the cross for the sake of mankind.  It is through His tremendous sacrifice on the cross and the shedding of His Blood that we are forgiven.  There is no greater love than this!  We do not deserve to be forgiven by Jesus, but He forgives us anyways.  He gives us His great love freely and desires us to share His great love with others.  Anytime we help one another, we are sharing God's love. Sometimes in life we are hurt deeply by another person and do not know if we will be able to forgive them.  By the grace of God, Jesus will show us the way to forgiveness.  He desires us to show mercy to others the same way He has shown us mercy.

Following God's Lead

September 21, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 139:23 (NRSV)

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts.

In chapter 6 of my third book, Jesus invites us to listen for His small still voice.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Listen in the silence to hear My small still voice calling out to you.  Follow My lead.  By following Me, you will know what My Will for your life will be.  Be not afraid to take up your daily crosses to follow Me.

It is when I sit alone in silence that I hear God speaking to me.  When we follow Jesus, we will be shown the way in which He desires us to walk.

Take A Stand

 September 20, 2024

Verse of the day - Ephesians 6:16 (NRSV)

With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

In chapter 6 of my second book, Jesus tells us that we need to take a stand against the devil.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Take a stand against the tactics of the devil.  The devil will send people into your life who will try to lead you astray from My flock.  By being strong in your faith, you will be able to withstand the tactics of the devil.  All My dear children go astray from My flock from time to time.  Be not afraid for I will always seek and bring them back to Myself.

I desire greatly that none of My dear children will be lost.  I will lead and guide the way for My sheep.  When you know Me as your Lord and Savior, you will hear My voice and follow Me.  I desire My dear children who know Me to help lead other dear children who are lost back to Me.

When we see someone struggling in their faith life, it is our responsibility to help them.  We may be uncomfortable and not know what to say, but Jesus will always show us the way.  Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life.  The only way to Heaven is through Jesus.  When we show one another the great love of Jesus, many times, they will come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.

The Bread Of Life

 September 18, 2024

Verse of the day - John 6:27 (NRSV)

Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you.  For it is on him that God the Father has set his seal.

In chapter 3 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about The Bread of Life.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

I am the Bread of Life.  I came down from Heaven so that all may have life through Me and that I may be with you until the end of the earth.  So many of My dear children do not realize My true presence in the Eucharist.  This hurts Me deeply.  I am truly there.  Each time you receive Me in the Eucharist, I am with you.  I come into your body and soul.  This is where I live.  How I long for My people to understand this.  There will always be non-believers among My dear children.  Even if they do not believe I am truly present in the Eucharist, I still come to them.  Eat My Bread, and you will live forever in the Heavenly sense.

Out of all of the Sacraments we receive, The Eucharist is considered to be the greatest gift of all.  The Eucharist was so important to many early Christians, that they risked their lives to receive it.  Jesus loves us so much that even when our souls are dark from sin, He still comes to us through the Eucharist.  Each time we go to Mass, and receive the Eucharist, we encounter Jesus personally.  Jesus is the true Bread of Life.  It is through the Eucharist that Jesus gives Himself to us in the form of bread and wine.

The Ultimate Sacrifice Of Love

 September 17, 2024

Verse of the day - Hebrews 9:22 (NRSV)

Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is not forgiveness of sins.

In chapter 7 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us about His Ultimate Sacrifice.

Excerpt from Called By God

It is indeed that by My shedding of Blood that everyone is saved, if they believe in Me.  Several centuries ago, before I came to earth, My dear children were required to shed the blood of bulls and goats.  It was thought that through the shedding of this blood, everyone would be saved from final condemnation.  It was not until I came to earth and shed My Blood on the cross, once and for all, that anyone was truly saved.  Come to Me and truly believe that I am the one who was sent to save everyone from their sins through the shedding of My Blood.  This was the ultimate sacrifice of love.  I gave My life over to the Father in Heaven so that all may be saved from final condemnation.  Blessed are My dear children who believe and follow in My Ways.

The love of Jesus shines down on us always.  His love is everlasting.  He showed us His great love through the cross when He suffered and died for us.  Through the cross of Christ, we are given a great gift.  It is here where we are forgiven for all our sins.  Jesus desires us to come before Him to receive this gift through His Most Precious Blood.  It is through the Blood of Jesus that was shed for us that we are saved.

You Are Worth More Than The Sparrows

 September 15, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 10:29 (NRSV)

Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground unperceived by your Father.

In chapter 7 of my third book, Jesus tells us that we are worth more than sparrows.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

My dear children, you are worth far more than the sparrows that fly in the sky.  Have no fear of anything.  If I take care of the birds of the air, I will also take care of you.  In your time of need, come to Me for assistance.  I will provide for you.  Blessed are you when you put your faith and trust in Me.  When you know Me, acknowledge Me before mankind.  Do not be afraid to stand up for your faith.  Everyone who acknowledges Me and knows Me as their Lord and Savior will be listed in the Lamb's Book of Life.  At the end of time, all who are in the Lamb's Book of Life will be called Home to spend eternity in Heaven.  It should be everyone's goal to join Me in your new Heavenly Home at the end of your life.

If God takes care of the birds in the air, He will also take care of us.  He knows everything about us and cares for us deeply.  We were created in His image and He desires us to share our faith with others so that they too may come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.

Becoming A Part Of God's Flock

 September 14, 2024

Verse of the day - John 10:9 (NRSV)

I am the gate.  Whoever enters by me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture.

In chapter 12 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about becoming part of His flock.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Come and join Me.  Become part of My flock.  I am the Good Shepherd.  You are My sheep.  A Good Shepherd watches over His sheep and keeps them from harm.  I will lead and guide you to where I desire you to be in this life.  Once you become part of My flock, I desire greatly that you would gather other sheep.  Many sheep have gone astray and need to find their way back to their Good Shepherd.  Help the lost sheep of this world to find their way back to Me.  Come, let all become part of My flock.  Becoming part of My flock is necessary to gain eternal life in Heaven.

We are the sheep that Jesus speaks about.  He is the Good Shepherd.  As our Good Shepherd, He will never leave us or forsake us.  He will always protect us from harm.  When we become part of His flock of sheep, He desires us to help lead others back to Him.  If we go astray from God's flock, He will always send us someone to help lead us back on the right path.  Jesus, The Good Shepherd, will always welcome us back with open arms.

Live In The Present Day Only

 September 13, 2024

Verses of the day - Exodus 3:13-14 (NRSV)

But Moses said to God, 'If I come to the Israelites and say to them, "The God of your ancestors has sent me to you", and they ask me, "What is his name?" what shall I say to them?'  God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM.' He said further, "Thus you shall say to the Israelities, "I AM sent me to you.'

In chapter 8 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about living in the present day only.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Live only in the present day.  This is what I desire.  When you live in the moment, life becomes easier because I walk beside you every day.  By living one day at a time you will find freedom.  Leave the past behind.  When you live in the past and think about what will happen in the future, it is scary because I am not there.  If you dwell on the past it will only bring you harm.  Many times My dear children live in fear of the future.  Do not fear what may happen in the future.  Live in the present day only because that is where I am always.  I walk beside you everyday.

When we live in the present and take one day at a time, we will be able to find great happiness.  By living in the present, God will be able to hold us close to Him.  He walks with us every day of our life.  The more often we release everything over to God and live one day at a time, the closer we will become to Jesus.  I know from personal experience how much better I feel when I live life day to day.  On the days I am thinking about things that have happened in the past or what could possibly happen in the future, I am not at peace.  Let us go forth in peace and try to live life one day at a time while walking with Jesus hand in hand. May the God of peace be with us all.  God Bless!

The Our Father Prayer

 September 11, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 6:7-8 (NRSV)

When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard for their many words.  Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

In chapter 3 of my fourth book, Jesus explains the Our Father Prayer to us.

Excerpt from Called By God

When My disciples desired to know how to pray, I taught them this prayer.  I desire My dear children today, to recite this prayer daily.  Sometimes My dear children do not fully understand the meaning of this prayer.  I will help you understand.

Our Father in Heaven - Refers to Me, Jesus.  I live in Heaven.
Hallowed be your name - My name is Holy and is meant to be reverenced.  I am worthy of all praise.
Your kingdom come - My kingdom is not of this world.  It is in the Heavenly Realms.
Your will be done - My Will shall always be done.
On earth as it is in Heaven - Follow My Will on earth just as I followed My Heavenly Father's Will in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread - Come to Me each day for the Life-giving Bread found only in The Eucharist.
And forgive us our debts - I forgive all sins great and small.
As we also have forgiven our debtors - Forgive one another as I have forgiven you.
And do not bring us to the time of trial - When you know Me as Lord and Savior, you will be put through many trials.  Pray for strength during these times.
But rescue us from the evil one - When the devil tries to bring harm to you, I will deliver you from his evil ways.
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. - Many of My dear children struggle with forgiveness. I forgive all sins great and small.  Many trespass against Me and do not even know it.  I forgive them anyways.  I desire you to do the same.  Forgive from the heart.  Learning how to forgive is hard to do but with My help this can be achieved.  When you let go of earthly happenings, you will be blessed.  If you truly forgive someone from the heart, you will no longer remember the offense.  Release all earthly offenses unto My care.  When you no longer remember the offense, it will no longer be remembered in Heaven.

Blessed are you when you learn how to forgive from the heart.  I am always with you and will teach you how to forgive the offenses of other people.  Not only do My dear children need to forgive others, but they also need to learn how to forgive themselves for past mistakes.  Many of My dear children struggle with forgiving themselves.  If you live in the past, I am not there.  I am only here in the present day. Focus on Me and live one day at a time.  Living in the past will only bring you harm.  Release everything over to Me and be set free.  When you release everything over to Me you will be free from all guilt and condemnation placed on you by the devil.  It is My desire that you live freely in My Presence.

By His Stripes We Are Healed

 September 10, 2024

Verse of the day - Isaiah 53:5 (NRSV)

But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed.

In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about His crucifixion.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Even though I desired this cup of death to pass from Me, I did the Will of My Father in Heaven.  It was My Father's Will that I sacrificed Myself on the cross as the Spotless Lamb.  I came to earth to take away the sins of the world by dying on the cross.  Through My death, burial, and resurrection, I gave everyone the opportunity for redemption.  By My stripes, you are healed.  Come to the cross and receive My healing power.  There is great power in the cross and My Blood that was shed for the sins of the world.

Even though Jesus desired the cup of death to pass from Him, He still went to the cross and died for our sins.  Through the shedding of His Blood, we have been healed from all unrighteousness.  He took our sins upon Himself, suffered and died for our sake.  He traded places with us and took our punishment upon Himself.  Without this tremendous sacrifice, we would be lost.  Jesus desires us to come to the cross, believe in Him, and receive His great love and mercy.

Everlasting Love

 September 9, 2024

Verse of the day - Isaiah 40:31

But those who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

In chapter 1 of my second book, Jesus assures us that He will catch us in His Everlasting Arms.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I will indeed catch you.  I will never leave you or forsake you.  You can always lean on Me.  I will give you My Everlasting Love.  Be not afraid to come before Me with your problems.  I understand better than anyone else ever will.

Just as an eagle protects her young and will not let any harm come to them, Jesus also protects us.  God will give us tremendous strength in our times of need.  He will never allow us to grow weary.  If we do grow weary, He will always be there to catch us in His Everlasting Arms.

Become Born Again

 September 8, 2024

Verses of the day - John 3:5-6 (NRSV)

Jesus answered, 'Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.  What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.

In chapter 2 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about becoming born again.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Just as Nicademus did not understand what I was trying to explain to him, so too are there many among you who do not understand either.  Trust in My Words for I speak the truth.  If you believe in Me, you will be saved.  Those of My dear children that do not believe in Me will be condemned, for I am the True Son of God.  I gave My life for everyone so that everyone may come to My redeeming grace.  When I was crucified, I rose again to My Father in Heaven.  It is here where I prepare a place for you.  I ask that you do away with earthly things that keep you from Me.  Come and follow Me.  I will lead you home.

Just as Jesus spoke to Nicademus, He also wants us to be born again.  While we live on Earth, we experience two births.  The first birth happens the day we are born.  When we are Baptized at birth, we are cleansed from original sin.  This is the sin that was passed on to us through Adam and Eve.  As we live our lives, we sin against God.  We follow the ways of the world, instead of following Jesus.  We are born a second time when we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

To be born again, we must change our ways so that we become more like Jesus.  Before anyone comes to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we follow the ways of the world.  We do what we want because everyone else does; therefore, our thinking is that it must be okay. Before we are born again, we are like Nicodemus. We don't understand anything other than earthly things.  However, when a person is born again, they begin to see things in a new light.  A born again person sees things from Jesus' point of view, and they begin to follow His Ways instead of the ways of the world.

One Day At A Time

 September 7, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 6:34 (NRSV)

So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring worries of its own.  Today's trouble is enough for today.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that there is no need to worry.

Excerpt from Called By God

Walk in My Ways, not the ways of the world.  Place your faith in Me.  I will make your pathway bright.  By relying on Me, you will be able to face anything that comes your way.  Walk with Me, one day at a time.  I am with you each day of your life.  Do not look back on the past or look to the future. I am not there.  When you take one day at a time, you will find peace.  I will give you peace even during the most difficult times of your life.   When you turn everything over to Me, life becomes much easier.  Everything that you need, I will provide.

There is no need to worry about anything.  Worry is the work of the devil.  This is what he desires.  Worry causes illness and disease.  Release everything over to Me and be at rest.

Many times, in life we worry about things that we have no control over.  Whether we worry about the things that have happened in the past, present or could possibly happen in the future, God is in control.  He will always take care of us, and He desires us to put our faith and trust in Him.  If we take life one day at a time, and allow God to lead the way, we will be at peace.   Only Jesus can give a peace that surpasses all understanding.

Christ Rose From The Dead

 September 5, 2024

Verse of the day - John 20:17 (NRSV)

Jesus said to her, 'Do not hold on to me, because I have not yet ascended to the Father.  But go to my brothers and say to them, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.

In chapter 4 of my third book, Jesus speaks about the Resurrection.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

For the sake of mankind, I was crucified.  Even though I died on the cross, on the third day, I rose from the dead. Through My death, burial and resurrection from the dead, I bring newness of life to My dear children.  Everyone who believes in Me will be brought to everlasting life in My Kingdom.

Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. He died on the cross for our sake, and rose again on the third day.  Through His death, burial and resurrection, we who believe in Him will one day be brought to everlasting life in Heaven.

Bringing The Lost Sheep Of The World Back

 September 4, 2024

Verses of the day -  Matthew 18:12-14  (NRSV)

What do you think? If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?  And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.  so it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.

In chapter 12 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about the lost sheep of the world back to Him.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

As disciples, this is what you are called to do.  Go out to all the world and proclaim the Good News of Salvation.  Bring the lost sheep of this world back to Me.  I always welcome the lost with open arms.  Come and become one with Me.  I love you with an everlasting love.  Come to Me and receive My great love for you.  Be at peace.

We are the lost sheep that Jesus speaks about.  Sometimes during our lives, we all go astray like lost sheep. It is then that Jesus will send someone into our lives to help lead us back to Him.  There is a popular picture of Jesus looking for the lost sheep.  If we stray from the path that leads to Christ, He will come looking for us.  He loves us so much that He is willing to leave the ninety-nine sheep that never went astray to come looking for us.  He desires no one to be lost. If we see someone who has strayed away from Christ, Jesus desires us to help lead them back to His Fold.

Teach Children About Jesus

 September 3, 2024

Verse of the day - John 16:13 (NRSV)

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak on his own, but will speak whatever he hears, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.

In chapter 4 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about the Holy Spirit.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

I indeed sent the Holy Spirit to help My children of this world.  It is through My Spirit that I help people lead others to Me.  I am also with you through the Sacraments.  At Baptism, My Spirit comes down upon you releasing you from original sin.  At Confirmation, I send down My Holy Spirit so that you may begin a closer journey to Me Spiritually.  Through Marriage, I strengthen you so that you will be able to share your faith with family and friends.  I also give you the ability to teach your children about Me.  This is very important.  Children need to grow up in a Spiritual environment so that they know how to stand up for their faith when tested.

Be The Light That Shines Through Darkness

September 2, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 5:14-16 (NRSV)

You are the light of the world.  A city on a hill cannot be hidden.  No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works ad give glory to your Father in heaven.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about being the light that shines through the darkness.

Excerpt from Called By God

My love is to be shared with everyone you meet.  Be the light that shines through the darkness.  When you share the light of My Love with them, they will find peace.  Not as the world gives, do I give.  My peace is an everlasting peace.  Through the world you may find peace also, but this type is only temporary.

Jesus desires us to share His Love with everyone we meet.  We may never know what another person is going through, but Jesus does.  When we share the Love of Christ with others, they will in turn share God's Love with someone else.  Many times, others will not know what it is like to be loved until we share God's Love with them. Let us all be the light that shines through the darkness and help one another by sharing the Light of Christ's Love.  Together we can make a difference.

The Forbidden Fruit

 September 1, 2024

Verses of the day -  Genesis 3:2-3 (NRSV)

The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden; but God said, "You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden, nor shall you touch it, or you shall die.

In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about the forbidden fruit.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

I gave Adam all the animals I created, and he named them.  Even though Adam had many animals, he was still lonely.  It was then that I cast a deep sleep on him.  While he was asleep, I took one of his ribs and formed Eve.  After this, Adam found great love.  I blessed them abundantly with food from the earth.  Eve was deceived by the serpent in the garden at Eden.  Through this deception, Eve took a bite of the forbidden fruit.  It was then that sin entered the world.

Before the serpent in the garden at Eden deceived Eve with the forbidden fruit, the earth was free from sin.  It was through the bite of the forbidden fruit that sin entered the world. It was the serpent who tempted Adam and Eve to question what God had told them.  We have been given free will by God.   Being tempted to do wrong is not sin.  It is when we give in to the temptation, that it becomes sin.  The Ten Commandments were given to us for instructions on how to live our life.  It is up to us to decide to follow the Ten Commandments.
