Being Obedient To God's Will

 October 30, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 6:10 (NRSV)

Your kingdom come.  Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

In chapter 3 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about being obedient to His Will.

Excerpt from Called By God.

I call My dear children to be obedient to My Will.  I desire greatly for My dear children to do as I ask.  When I ask something of My dear children, I desire that they be obedient and listen to My voice.  Sometimes what I ask of you will be simple everyday tasks.  At other times, what I ask of you will be difficult to do.  I ask that everything would be done according to the words that were spoken to you by Me.  As difficult as this may be at times, what is being asked of you is according to My Holy Will for you in this life.

Many times in life we will have our faith tested.  This was the case for Abraham.  Abraham was a man of great faith and was put to the test by God.  He was told by God to offer up his only son Isaac, whom he loved dearly, as a burnt offering.  As hard as this was for Abraham, he put his faith in God and prepared to sacrifice his son.  Just as Abraham was getting ready to sacrifice his son on the altar, an angel from God called out to Abraham and told him not to do it.  God then provided a ram, caught by its horns to take the place of Isaac. Even though we will have our faith tested from time to time, God still desires us to be obedient to what He asks us to do.

God Knows What Is Best For Us

 October 28, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 19:1 (NRSV)

The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the firmament proclaims his handiwork.

In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus tells us that He knows what is best for us.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

I will never leave or forsake My dearly beloved children.  Even if your father and mother forsake you, I will not.  If you feel lost and alone, come to the cross.  I will renew your torn spirit.  Pour your heart out before Me.  I hear all prayers.  I answer according to My Will and My timing.  If I do not answer your prayers the way you desire, remember, like a loving Father, I know what is best for My dear children.

When we trust in the Lord with our whole heart while going through difficult times, He will bring us His peace and joy.  We will be strengthened by His great love and mercy.  Even during our struggles, we can always count on God to help us through.  Jesus is always there with open arms waiting for us to come to Him in our time of need.  Like a loving Father, He will bring us great comfort.  He will never leave us or forsake us.

Asking For Help From God

 October 26, 2024

Verse of the day - Proverbs 3:5-6 (NRSV)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

In chapter 7 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about asking Him for help.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Come before the Throne of Grace and ask for My help.  I am here for you always.  Be not afraid to ask for help.  That is what I am here for.  Like a loving parent, I am here to help lead and guide you through the difficulties of life.  Many times, when My dear children come to Me for advice, they expect an answer to their problems right away.  Sometimes I answer right away, other times I do not.  I always answer according to My Holy Will.  Sometimes the answer is yes, sometimes no, and still other times I will delay the answer.  If My answer is delayed, have no fear.  Everything will always be answered according to My timing.

As humans, we can many times become impatient when waiting for answers from God.  We need to remember that God knows what is best for us, and He will never lead us in the wrong direction.  He will always answer us in His timing.

The End Times Are Near

 October 25, 2024

Verse of the day - Joel 2:1 (NRSV)

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy mountain!  Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming, it is near.

In chapter 6 of my first book, Jesus tells us that the end times are near.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

The end times are near.  All need to repent and be saved.  Everyone who comes to Me and believes will be saved.  There is much rebellion in the world.  Many people have hardened their hearts and are not able to hear the words I have to speak to them.  I also desire that everyone opens their eyes so that they can see the evil things that are happening in this world.  My dear children, pray that the evil ways will change.  Prayer changes things.  I always hear the prayers of My children.  When you pray from the heart, miracles happen.  Lives will be changed.

We are living in the end times.  Things of this world are spinning out of control.  We all need to pray for the souls of our fellow brothers and sisters.  We are all brothers and sisters in Christ, and everyone needs to pray for each other so that we will be able to join Jesus in Heaven.  We need to turn from our evil ways and return to the living God who gives us overwhelming joy and freedom.

The Burdens Of Life

October 24, 2024

Verse of the day - Galatians 6:2 (NRSV)

Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfil the law of Christ.

In chapter 4 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about helping one another with their burdens.

Excerpt from Called By God

I desire My dear children to love one another.  Be loving and kind to everyone you meet.  Many of My dear children carry heavy burdens in their life.  No one knows the burdens another person carries except Me.  When you reach out to one another in love, burdens may be relieved.  Do not be afraid to help one another through the burdens of life.  Sometimes My dear children need a loving ear.  When someone listens to what they need to say, it will often help the other person tremendously.  Love one another equally.

We all face some type of burden in our life.  Many times, we hide these from other people.  Even if no one else knows the difficulties we are facing in life, God does.  When we see someone who is struggling in life, we should take the time to reach out to them.  Many times, we can relieve the burdens of another person just by listening to them.  Sometimes we just need someone who will listen to us.

God's Glory

 October 23, 2024

Verse of the day - 1 Corinthians 13:12 (NRSV)

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face.  Now I know only in part; then I will know fully, even as I have been fully known.

In chapter 3 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about His Glory.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

While you are on earth, you will only dimly see part of My Glory.  If you saw the full extent of My Glory, you would not be able to handle it.  My Glory is brighter than the sun.  When you come to Heaven at the end of your earthly life, that is when you will see the extent of My full Glory face to face.  Many blessings will be bestowed upon My dear children who follow Me.  Lead others back to Me.  When you lovingly take others by the hand, and lead them in the right direction, they too shall be saved and see My Glory face to face in Heaven.  Behold My Presence.

This past summer I went on a Pilgrimage to Alabama.  One day we were at The Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament.  They have an upper church and lower church there.  We went to the upper church for adoration. They say that you cannot see the face of Jesus in the Eucharist.  I have actually experienced seeing this on multiple occasions.  As we were sitting there, I was gazing at the beauty of the Eucharist in the Monstrance (The vessel that contains The Eucharist).  As I was sitting there focused, I heard myself saying, "Show me your face."  As soon as I said that, The Eucharist became super bright!  It was brighter than the "diamond ring" of a solar eclipse.  It was such a blinding brightness that I could no longer look at it and had to look away! I feel I saw a glimpse of God's Glory that day.  It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw!

Repaid For Good Works

 October 22, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 62:7 (NRSV)

On God rests my deliverance and my honour; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.

In chapter 2 of my second book, Jesus tells us that we will be repaid for our good works.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I will indeed repay everyone for their good works.  Many of My dear children expect to see their reward while still living on earth.  Rest assured if you do not see any reward while on earth, you will see it in My Kingdom when you join Me in your new Heavenly home.  Your life focus should be on Me and spreading the good news of My coming salvation.  There are many of My dear children who do not know Me as their Lord and Savior.  It is up to you to help the lost sheep.  Help lead them back to My fold.  Be not afraid to speak up on My behalf.  I am the Good Shepherd.  You are My disciples.  Come before Me and I will lead you where you need to be.  There are many among you who are lost and do not know how to find Me.  With My help, I will send you among the wolves so that you may rescue the lost.

We should never be afraid to speak up on behalf of Jesus.  This is the reason we were put on earth, so that we may be able to lead others to Christ. It may be scary to proclaim God's word and love to one another at first, but in time it will become easier.  This is what we are called to do.  When we are afraid and do not know what words to say, if we call on the name of Jesus, He will give us the answers we need.  There is no need to fear with Jesus by our side.

Taking God's Name In Vain

 October 21, 2024

Verse of the day - Exodus 20:7 (NRSV)

You shall not make wrongful use of the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not acquit anyone who misuses his name.

In chapter 10 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about taking His name in vain.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Do not take My name in vain.  This grieves Me deeply.  Many times My dear children are so used to taking My name in vain that they do not even realize they are doing it.  It becomes part of their everyday language.  Please refrain from this.

God gave us the Ten Commandments as rules to live by.  The Second Commandment speaks about not taking the name of God in vain.  Many times, people curse by using God's name without even realizing it.  Sometimes it will become part of their everyday language.  This hurts God deeply.  His name is meant to be held in deep respect.

Protected By God

 October 20, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 23:4 (NRSV)

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff - they comfort me.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about His protection.

Excerpt from Called By God

I am your Good Shepherd.  You are My sheep.  Come, follow Me.  Allow Me to lead you on the path of righteousness.  I will lead and guide you in the direction which I desire you to go.  I will always be a Shepherd to My people.

I will always protect My dear children from the evil ways of the world.  Trust in Me.  I will help you through your most trying times.  Lean on Me and I will bring you comfort.  I will release you from all your fears.  Find peace in My Presence.

During our most trying times in life, Jesus is right there with us.  We can lean on Him for comfort.  When our fears are great, He will calm them for us.  During times of trial in life, I find comfort in the Presence of God.  It is when I come before Him that I find great peace.  His peace is like no other on earth.

Share The Gifts We Have Been Given

 October 18, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 25:29 (NRSV)

For to all those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance; but from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away.

In chapter 4 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about the gifts we are given.

Excerpt from Called By God

I have given each of My dear children gifts which I desire them to use.  Share your gifts with others so they may benefit from them.  When you recognize My gifts in other people, share with them what you see.  Many times, My dear children do not realize what their gifts are until someone else tells them.  Help one another on the journey of life.

We have all been given different gifts to use by God.  When we know what our gifts are, Jesus desires us to share them with other people.  Some people have been gifted with the ability to listen to other people, while others may have the ability to speak in front of people.  When we see God's gift in other people, we should tell them.  Sometimes someone may not realize their gift until someone else points it out to them.

We are all on a journey trying to make our way through life.  Even though we all grow spiritually at our own pace, Jesus calls us to share the gift of faith, which we have been given with others.  No matter where we are on our spiritual journey, if we share our faith and experiences with others, we will be able to help one another grow.  Let us all journey together through life and help one another any way we can.

Living To Serve God

 October 17, 2024

Verse of the day - Luke 7:27 (NRSV)

This is the one about whom it is written, "See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you."

In chapter 8 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about serving Him.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

If My dear children have been blessed with great wealth, I desire that the wealth would be shared with the less fortunate.  Entering the kingdom of God is hard.  No one knows when their last day on earth will be.  Live your life to serve Me.  When you become a servant, I will show you the way.  Living your life for Me will not be easy.  Many times, things of this world will come against My chosen servants.  Be prepared to face trials.

When we become a servant of God, Jesus tells us that we will face many trials.  Many times, the world will come against us if we proclaim the truth of God's Word.  When we become a servant for the Lord Jesus Christ, God will show us the way.  Through following Jesus, we will be able to lead many back to Him.

Be Aware Of False Prophets

 October 16, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 7:15 (NRSV)

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

In chapter 1 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about false prophets.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Many times, in life, My dear children will find someone who appears to be of good nature.  Please be careful.  Many times, someone may appear to be of good nature, but they are not.  They may speak words in My name, however; it is the devil in disguise.  Anytime you hear from someone that they are a prophet for the Lord Jesus Christ, put what they say to the test.  Come to Me in prayer and I will let you know if what they tell you is truly of Me.  If through your prayers you are at peace, then they were truly sent from Me.  If on the other hand, something does not feel right, then they are not from Me.  They are only someone who is trying to lead you astray.  As the end of time draws near, there will be more and more of My dear children being led astray.

Letting Go Of Anger

 October 14, 2024

Verse of the day -  Ecclesiastes 7:9 (NRSV)

Do not be quick to anger, for anger lodges in the bosom of fools.

In chapter 5 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about anger.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Becoming angry is a natural human emotion that I instilled into you.  It's okay to become angry from time to time, but you must not hold on to that anger.  You need to release it to Me and move on.  By reliving the thing that made you angry, it only causes you harm.  It is also sinful.  This happens when you want to take revenge on someone for hurting you.  It may be a physical or emotional hurt that you experienced, but you need to turn everything over to Me and then let go.

We all become angry from time to time.  Even Jesus became angry with the money changers who were in the temple.  When our anger turns into rage and we desire to take revenge on someone that has done us wrong, it is then considered to be wrath.  Revenge does no good.  It only hurts us spiritually.  Jesus said we are to do unto others as we with others to do unto us.  When someone does something to make us angry, we should turn the other cheek.  Instead of taking revenge on that person, we should pray for them.  By turning everything over to God, we will be able to find peace.

Led In The Right Direction

 October 13, 2024

Verse of the day - Mark 10:45 (NRSV)

For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about serving others.

Excerpt from Called By God

My dear children, many desire to achieve greatness in their lifetime.  If you call upon My name, I will guide you in the right direction.  I will always lead My dear children in the direction which I desire them to go.  Come, follow Me.  Allow Me to guide you.

While I lived on earth, I served many people.  When they desired to make Me a king, I fled.  It was not My desire to be served but to serve.  I desire My dear children to serve one another also.  Never be afraid to lend a helping hand.  Many of My dear children do not know what it is like to be loved.  By lending a helping hand, they will feel My love through you.

With the direction of Jesus, He will lead us to where He wants us to be.  He will lead the way and show us how we can help one another on this journey called life.  When we help one another in time of need, we are sharing the Light of Christ's Love.  Jesus shared His love with many people and desires us to do the same.

Giving God Praise And Thanksgiving

 October 12, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 18:4 (NRSV)

Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

In chapter 5 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about being humble.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Humble yourselves before Me, not mankind.  I am the only one worthy to be honored.  Give Me praise and thanksgiving from your heart.  Even if the entire world should forsake you because of your love for Me, you shall never walk alone.  I am by your side every step of the way.  Come and become one with Me.  I love you and you are My beloved child.  Be not afraid to stand alone from the crowd.  While I was living on earth, many people came against Me because of My teachings.  They did not believe in what I told them.  Even though this happened, I did not let it stop Me from proclaiming the truth.  I continued to do the Will of My Father in Heaven.  I desire My dear children to follow in My footsteps and do the same.

True Discipleship Happens When We Follow Jesus

 October 11, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 16:24 (NRSV)

Then Jesus told his disciples, 'If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.

In chapter 3 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about discipleship.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

True discipleship happens when you follow My Ways instead of the ways of the world.  Come and follow Me.  Do not be afraid for My Ways are out of love and peace.  I will be with you every step of the way.  I will take you by the right hand and lead you to where you need to be.  I will take you to many places in your life that you will not expect.  Listen to My voice for I will never lead you wrong.  This is what being a true disciple is all about.  Follow Me all the days of your life and you will be truly blessed.

Let go of the things that are holding you back from giving Me your full attention.  If I ask you to give something up, it is because it has become a hindrance to you finding what you need to have in Me.  As hard as it may be sometimes, I will never ask you to give up something if it would not help you grow.

Each of us has a calling in life.  We have been called by God to do certain things.  In order to know what we are being called to do, we need to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit will lead and guide us onto the right path.  Sometimes we will need to deny ourselves of certain things in life to get to where we are going and need to be.  Many times, we the children of God, follow the ways of the world instead of following in the footsteps of Jesus.  When we follow the world, the world will love us.  However, it is the will of God the Father that we follow Jesus instead.  Even if we are unpopular and criticized, we should always follow what Jesus wants us to do.  This is where true discipleship comes in.

God Speaks To Us In The Silence Of Our Heart

 October 10, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 32:1 (NRSV)

Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

In chapter 6 of my first book, Jesus tells us that He speaks to us in the silence of our heart.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Even though the end times are near, people are still drifting away from Me.  Pray that everyone will have their eyes opened.  There is much evil in this world.  Everyone needs to cleanse their soul from sin.  Only I can do this.  Each time you confess your sins before the priest, you also confess them before Me.  It is through My power that your sins are forgiven.  The priest represents Me since I am no longer present on this earth in the human sense.  I am always here in the Spiritual sense.  I speak to you in the silence of your heart.  Come and be still in My Presence.  Open you heart and receive Me fully.  When your heart is fully open to My Presence, you will realize the sins that need to be confessed.  With My help you can overcome these sins and learn to live life more fully.

This joy and freedom is given to us when we repent of our sins.  We all sin whether we want to or not.  It is a daily battle that we deal with as humans.  Our entire lives we do battle with the devil.  Sin is what the devil thrives on.  In order to be released from the power of the devil, we must confess our sins before God.  Once we confess before God what we have done, He is quick to forgive us.  He remembers our sins no more.

Everyone Is Loved

 October 9, 2024

Verse of the day - 1 Corinthians 13:13 (NRSV)

And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three, and the greatest of these is love.

In chapter 4 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about love.

Excerpt from Called By God

Everyone deserves to be loved.  Many times, My dear children feel as though they are unlovable.  This is a lie told by the devil to discourage My dear children.  Do not allow anyone or anything to make you feel as though no one could love you.  I love everyone with an everlasting love.  My love for mankind is so great that I gave up My life to save everyone from their sins.  There is no greater love than this.

Sometimes in life, we may feel as though we are unlovable.  Nothing could be further from the truth.  Even if everyone turns against us, and we feel all alone, God is always right there with us.  He loves us with an everlasting love.  Psalm 27:10 says: If my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will take me up.  This means that even if it feels as though everyone abandoned us, God never will.

Be The Light For Others

October 8, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 5:14-15 (NRSV)

No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.  In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.

In chapter 8 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about being the light for others.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Never be afraid to let your light and love of Me to shine brightly before others.  Light the path of life for others so that they may find their way back to me.  Many are lost and lonely.  My dear children, please be the light that leads others back to Me.  I am always waiting with open arms to welcome My lost children back to Me.  Open your heart wide to those who are lost and lonely.  Be not afraid to help them find their way back to Me.  I am the Good Shepherd and will always welcome all sheep to My fold.  Blessed are you when you help lead them back to Me.

When we follow Jesus, we are followers of the light.  Just as Jesus is the light of the world, we too should be allowing our light to shine before others.  At Baptism, we are given the light of Christ. As we grow older, and learn about Jesus, our light will grow brighter.  As our light grows brighter, we should not be afraid to pass our light along to others.  The more we share the light of Christ with others, the brighter the world will become.  Without the light of Christ in our life, things will grow dark and gloomy.

The Future Is Hidden Behind A Veil

 October 7, 2024

Verse of the day - Romans 15:13 (NRSV)

May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

In chapter 12 of my second book, Jesus assures us that we can place our hope in Him.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Come My dear children and behold My grace.  In your time of need, I will never abandon you.  I am here to help you through the storms of life.  Sometimes My dear children wish they knew what the future is going to bring.  I give you twenty-four hours in a day.  This is all the human body was designed to handle.  If My dear children knew what was going to happen in the future, they would have problems handling it.  That is why the future is hidden behind a veil.  Have faith in Me and live life one day at a time.  Even when life is hard, you can always place your hope in Me.

We may not know what the future will bring, but God does.  At times, life can be scary, but Jesus will always be by our side.  He will never leave us.  In our times of need when we cry out to God for help, He will always be there for us.  With Jesus by our side, we should have nothing to fear.  Jesus has great plans for each of us.  Plans that will help us.  Even when the storms of life try to overtake us, we can always cling to Jesus, our Lord and Savior.  He is the God of hope.

Welcomed With Open Arms

 October 2, 2024

Verses of the day - Luke 15:31-32 (NRSV)

Then the father said to him, "Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.

In chapter 7 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about the prodigal son.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Just as the prodigal son was reconciled with his earthly father, so must everyone be reconciled with Me.  The prodigal son sinned greatly against his earthly father.  Even though he left and did his own thing in a foreign land, his father was waiting for him at home.  When the son realized how lost he was without his father, he came back home.  His father was overjoyed to see him upon his return and welcomed him with open arms.  This father showed his son the great love and mercy he had for him.  As a result, the son was forgiven.  Just as the Father of the prodigal son welcomed him back with open arms, I too welcome everyone to Myself with open arms.  It does not matter how long you have been away from Me or how great your sins are, I will always welcome you back with open arms.  Nothing can separate you from My love.

Many times we are like the prodigal son.  We drift away from God because we want our own way.  We think that we can make it on our own without the help of God.  Jesus allows this to happen because He gave us free will.  When we learn our lesson that we cannot make it through life on our own, Jesus is always there waiting to welcome us back with open arms.  When we run back to the loving arms of Jesus, we will have great joy.  This great joy comes from knowing that we are forgiven.  What a great God we have!  Even when we abandon Him, He will never abandon us.  He waits patiently in the shadows of our lives for us.  When we decide to return to Him, He is more than ready to welcome us back.

Much Work Needs To Be Done

 October 1, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 9:37-38 (NRSV)

Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.'

In chapter 5 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about doing His work.

Excerpt from Called By God

There are many among My dear children who are lost and do not know how to find their way to Me, The Good Shepherd.  It is up to My disciples to gather those who are lost and lead them to Me.  I will lead the way for My disciples.  There is much work that needs to be done for My coming Kingdom but only a few who do My work.

When we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He desires us to help lead other people to Him.  It is up to us to help lead those who lost and do not know how to find Jesus.  If we do not know what to say, we can say a prayer to Jesus and He will guide our words for us.  By sharing our faith with others, they will see the light of Christ and come to know Him through us. Let us all come together and share the love of Jesus with everyone we meet.
