God Waits Patiently For Us

 January 31, 2025

Verse of the day - Luke 15:32 (NRSV)

But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.

In chapter 2 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about the prodigal son.

Excerpt from Called By God

The prodigal son lost his way in life when he commanded his father to give him his share of the inheritance.  Even though the son took his share of the money and did with it as he pleased, the father patiently waited for his return.  Upon the return of his son, the father was filled with joy.  In the same way, I too am filled with joy when one of My dear children returns to Me with their whole heart.  I will never force My dear children to do anything, but I wait patiently for their return.  Everyone strays from Me sometime during their life.  Have no fear My dear little ones.  Even if you abandon Me during your life, I will never abandon you.  I wait quietly for you to return to Me.  Many are the blessings for those who follow Me.  If My dear children stray away from Me during their life, I will patiently wait for their return and bless them abundantly when they do return to Me.

Sometimes during life, we drift off and go our own way.  We may believe that we can make it through life on our own without the help, guidance, and love of Jesus.  Even if we do this, Jesus will never abandon us.  In the parable of the prodigal son, the father represents Jesus.  Jesus waits patiently for us to return to Him, then welcomes us back with open arms.  Let us run to the loving arms of Jesus!  God's love will never fail us.

The Ministry Of Jesus

 January 29, 2025

Verse of the day - Luke 2:49 (NRSV)

He said to them, 'Why were you searching for me?  Did you not know that I must be in my Father's house?'

At the age of twelve years old, Jesus began His ministry.  In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about His ministry.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

At the age of twelve years old, I began My ministry on earth.  I began teaching in the temple at this young age.  My parents came searching for Me.  Even though I was doing My Heavenly Father's work, at that young age, I obeyed My parents.  I left the temple area and went with them.  I began My main ministry at the age of thirty.  For three years, My disciples followed Me and learned many lessons.  At the age of thirty-three, I was crucified on the cross to save My dear children from their sins.  Through Adam and Eve, sin entered the world.  Through My death, burial, and resurrection from the dead, I have redeemed the world.  I came so that everyone who comes to the cross and believes in Me will be saved from final condemnation.

At the age of twelve years old, Jesus knew He had a special calling in His life.  He was not afraid to do the work He was called to do.  At the age of thirty, He began His main ministry. This is when He chose His disciples and began teaching them so that they could carry on His work after He sacrificed Himself upon the cross three short years later.  It is only through Jesus coming to earth in the form of a man, living among us, and dying upon the cross that we are given a chance to have complete redemption from our sins.  Jesus is asking us to come to Him and believe.

Coming To God In The Silence

 January 27, 2025

Verse of the day - John 14:27 (NRSV)

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.

In chapter 12 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about coming to Him in the silence.

Come to Me in the silence.  I will give you peace which no one can give.  In your times of trial, I am always with you.  When you come to Me in the silence and lift your prayers to Me, I will hear your cry for help.  I always answer the prayers of My beloved children according to My Father's Holy Will.  We know what is best for our dear children.  We will not allow any harm to come to you.

When we come to God in silence, we will have a sense of peace.  He is always waiting to hear from us. Like a loving Father, He knows what is best for us.  Jesus will always lead us in the right direction and bring us peace.

Protected By God's Armor

 January 26, 2025

Verse of the day - Ephesians 6:11 (NRSV)

Put on the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

In chapter 7 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about standing up the devil.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

My dear children, come to Me in repentance.  There is much evil lurking around in the world.  Be not afraid to come to Me in repentance.  I will free you of all your sins.  Be firm and stand up to the devil.  When you stand up against the tactics of the devil and repent of your sins, he will flee from you.  The devil will lose his grip.  He will have no power over you unless you allow him to.  Protect yourselves everyday by putting on the Armor of God.  Through My shield, you will be protected from harm.

In Ephesians chapter 6, it speaks to us about the Armour of God.  When we take time to put on God's Armor everyday, we will be protected against the wiles of the devil.  Throughout our daily lives, we will face many struggles.  Many times, we may feel as though we are doing battle against our enemies when in reality it is a spiritual battle.  This is why God has told us to protect ourselves against evil everyday by putting on His Armor. This Armor consists of the Belt of Truth which will help keep us from giving in to the way the world believes.  The Breastplate of Righteousness refers to being honest and fair to one another.  If someone is having problems we stand up for them.  We shod our feet with the Gospel of Peace in order to be right with God. When we take the Shield of Faith we are confident that God will keep His promises.  Through our faith in God, we will be protected when we are tempted to doubt.  We will be able to defend ourselves against any evil that may come our way.  Through the Helmet of Salvation, we believe that Jesus died for us to save us from our sins.  The Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God.  Through the Word of God we will be able to help teach other people about Jesus.

The Divine Shepherd

 January 25, 2025

Verse of the day - Isaiah 53:7 (NRSV)

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.

In chapter 7 of my fifth book, Jesus tells us that He is the Divine Shepherd.

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ

I am the Divine Shepherd who was slain for the sake of mankind.  I opened not My mouth when they nailed Me to the tree.  It was the Will of My Father in Heaven for Me to lay down My life for the sake of My dear children.  Come to Me and believe that I sacrificed  Myself so that you may be saved.  I love you so much and I desire no harm to come to you.  Blessed are you when you believe in Me.

There is no love greater than the love of Jesus.  He loves us so much that He gave up His life so that we may live.  We are saved from eternal condemnation if we believe in Jesus, who is God's only Son.  Through His sacrifice on the cross and by believing in Him, we will one day live with Him forever in our new Heavenly Home.

Knowing What Our Calling In Life Is

 January 24, 2025

Verse of the day - Matthew 7:14 (NRSV)

For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

In chapter 1 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that we are all called in different ways.

Excerpt from Called By God

I call out to My dear children, and I desire you to receive it.  I call all My dear children in different ways.  When you know what your calling is in life, receive it graciously.  Be not afraid of the work I call you to do.  I will be with you and give you strength to endure what is placed before you.  Blessed are you when you endure to the end.  When I call you to do a certain job for Me in life, it will not be easy.  Many people may come against you.  Be strong in your faith and follow Me.

We are all called by God in different ways.  When we receive His calling, we will know it is from Him if we feel peace.  Sometimes in life we may feel as though we are doing what we are called to do.  If, however, we do not feel peace about what we are doing, it means that we should not do it.  Jesus will guide us in the right direction.

Praying To God In Secret

 January 22, 2025

Verse of the day - Matthew 6:6 (NRSV)

But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.

In chapter 9 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about prayer.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Not only did I create mankind in My image, but I also created man to worship Me alone!  I spent time in prayer with My Heavenly Father.  I desire My dear children to do the same.  Pray to Me in secret.  When you pray to Me in secret, I will answer you.  Only I know the desires of your heart.  Blessed are you when you speak to Me about what is troubling you instead of mankind.  I alone know the answers to your problems.

If Jesus spent time in the Presence of His Holy Father in Heaven, how much more time do we need to spend in prayer with Jesus?  Jesus desires us to come to Him in prayer.  He alone has the answers we need.  When we take time out of our schedule to be in the Presence of God, we are truly blessed.

Disciples Of Christ

 January 21, 2025

Verse of the day - Ephesians 6:10 (NRSV)

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.

In chapter 3 of my second book, Jesus tells us what we need to do when we feel as though we are being overcome with evil.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Being a disciple of Mine is hard.  Many times, the devil will throw daggers at you to try to make you quit following Me.  By daggers I mean he will put major stumbling blocks in your way.  Please be aware of this.  Any time you feel you are being overcome with evil, cry out to Me and I will rescue you.  Any time you cry out to Me you win, and the devil loses.  Be firm in your faith and stand up to the tactics of the devil.  When you stand up to the devil, you grow in your faith with Me.  Be not afraid to take a stand.  This is what you are called to do.

Being a disciple for Jesus is hard.  Many times, we will have people and other circumstances come against us while we are trying to do God's work.  Sometimes we may have doubts as to whether or not what we are doing is what God has actually called us to do.  Back in the time of Jesus, the twelve disciples were ordinary people chosen by Jesus, Himself to carry on His work after He went to the cross and died for our sins.  They too had many doubts and fears.  Even if we have doubts and fears like the disciples did or feel unqualified, Jesus will give us the strength and courage we need to do His work.

Becoming More Like Jesus

 January 20, 2025

Verses of the day - John 5:46-47 (NRSV)

If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.  But if you do not believe what he wrote, how will you believe what I say?

In chapter 10 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about following His Commandments.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Come and follow Me and I will show you the way to come home to Me.  If you follow the laws that I give, nobody can take you away from Me.  My laws are the Ten Commandments that I gave to Moses on the mountain.  In order to draw closer to Me, following these Commandments is a must.  Everyone sins and falls short of My Glory, but by following My Ten Commandments you will learn to be more like Me.  Let My Divine light shine before others so they may see the good that you do.  By doing good for others, they will see My Divine glory shining brightly.  Keep Me close to your heart, and I will show you the way to live.

Moses did as I commanded him to.  He was on the mountain with Me, when I gave him the Ten Commandments.  These Commandments were set in stone for the world to see.  It is by following these Commandments that you are able to achieve eternal life.

If we all followed the Ten Commandments which are the ways of God, the world would be a much better place; however, we are all sinners and fall short of the Glory of God.  The Ten Commandments are guidelines that Jesus gave us to follow.  When we break these Commandments, we sin against God and we need to confess our sins so that we will receive forgiveness.  If we follow the Ten Commandments that were given to Moses, we will learn how to become closer to God.  When we follow His Ways, we become more like Jesus.  Our eyes will be opened to the wicked ways of the world.

Saved Through The Blood Of Jesus

 January 18, 2025

Verse of the day - Hebrews 10:10 (NRSV)

And it is by God's will that we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

In chapter 12 of my fifth book, Jesus speaks to us about the sacrifice He made of us.

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ

Before I sacrificed Myself on the cross for the sake of mankind, it was required of people to make sacrifices each year.  Through the sacrifice of bulls and goats it was thought the blood of these animals would save everyone from their sins.  This is not so.  It is only through My Blood that everyone who believes in Me is saved.  After My crucifixion, it was no longer required to sacrifice bulls and goats.  I gave the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of My dear children.  I shed My Blood only once.  Through the shedding of My Blood, all generations shall be saved through believing in Me.  Come to the cross and believe.  Allow My life-saving Blood to flow over you.

Through the sacrifice Jesus made for us on the cross, we are truly blessed  It is only through His Blood and believing in Him that we have eternal salvation.

Several centuries ago, before the time of Jesus, the high priest was required to sacrifice bulls and goats on  behalf of everyone for atonement of sins.  Once a year, the high priest would enter The Holy of Holies with the blood of bulls and goats and offer it up for the sins of the people.  At the time, it was thought that through this offering of blood, the sins of everyone would be cleansed.  However, this was not the case.  True cleansing of sins did not occur until Jesus died on the cross.  Jesus is the Spotless Lamb.  It is only through the shedding of His Blood and believing in Him, that we are saved from our sins.

Igniting The Flame Of Christ's Love

 January 17, 2025

Verse of the day - John 8:12 (NRSV)

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world.  Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.'

In chapter 5 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about sharing His love with everyone we meet.

Excerpt from Called By God

Many times, My dear children have never experienced the light of My love.  I desire everyone who knows Me to share their light with others.  This is how the light of My love spreads among My dear children.  Even the smallest amount of light given to someone may spark great things in their life.  For those who do not yet know Me as their Lord and Savior, if a spark of hope is given to them, I will be able to make it grow into something bigger.  I desire My dear children who know Me to be the spark that helps others grow in their lives spiritually.  Ignite the flame of My love and share it with everyone you meet.

Jesus has told us that we are the light of the world.  We are to share the light of Christ with others.  When we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, if we share the light of His great love with others, the world will become a better place.  Through sharing our faith with others, God's great light and love will spread over the earth.

Jesus Will Come Again

 January 15, 2025

Verse of the day - John 14:3 (NRSV)

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.

In chapter 3 of my third book, Jesus informs us that He will come again.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

At the end of time, I shall appear once again.  I will gather all believers to Myself.  Everyone living on earth and those who have passed away while believing in Me will be joined together in the sky.  Be ready for My second coming.  The time is near.  There will be many who are eagerly waiting for My return.  Those who are not ready will be left behind.  Come and be one who will see My Coming Glory.

In the book of Revelation, it speaks about when Jesus returns to earth He will be riding a white horse and wearing a robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed that says : "King of kings and Lord of lords.  When He comes back the Devil will be bound and thrown into a sealed pit for a thousand years.  During these thousand years, there will be peace on earth. No one knows when Jesus will return to earth, but Jesus has said the time is near.  The time to prepare for this event is now.  Jesus desires that no one would be left behind at the end of time.

Redemption Is A Gift

 January 14, 2025

Verses of the day - Romans 3:23-24 (NRSV)

Since all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; they are now justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

In chapter 5 of my second book, Jesus tells us that redemption is a gift.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

When one of My dear children becomes redeemed, the angels in Heaven rejoice.  Only by My Blood can anyone be redeemed.  Redemption is a gift from above.  I give it freely to everyone who seeks Me.  I desire everyone to be redeemed through My saving power.  I love everyone equally, and everyone has the same chance to come to know Me as their Lord and Savior.

When we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we are redeemed through the Precious Blood that Jesus shed for us when He died upon the cross.  He loves us so much that He was willing to give up His Life in order to save us from our sins.  Every time someone comes to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, the angels in Heaven rejoice.

The True Lamb Of God

 January 12, 2025

Verses of the day - John 1:29-30 (NRSV)

The next day he saw Jesus coming towards him and declared, 'Here is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!  This is he of whom I said, "After me comes a man who ranks ahead of me because he was before me."

In chapter 4 of my first book, Jesus tells us that He is the True Lamb of God.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

I am the true Lamb of God. I made the biggest sacrifice of all.  I died on the cross so that everyone could come to My redeeming grace.  It is by grace that you are saved.  I took the punishment for all sins.  It is by My dying on the cross that the sins of the world are forgiven.  I gave My life's Blood for this very reason.  There is no greater love than this.  I desire everyone to come to My redeeming grace.  Come and become one with Me in body, mind, and spirit.

Jesus is the True Lamb.  He gave Himself unselfishly.  By dying on the cross, He was able to save mankind.  It does not matter what race or religion we are; Jesus died on the cross for everyone.  We are all sinners and fall short of His Glory.  We are all the same in His eyes.  He loves us with unconditional love.  No matter how we live our lives, or what type of sins we commit, He will always be there for us.  He is waiting for us to reach out to Him.

The Great I Am

 January 11, 2025

Verses of the day - Exodus 3:13-14 (NRSV)

But Moses said to God, ' If I come to the Israelites and say to them, "The God of your ancestors has sent me to you," and they ask me, "What is his name?" what shall I say to them?'  God said to Moses,, 'I AM WHO I AM.'  He said further, 'Thus you shall say to the Israelites, "I AM has sent me to you." '

In chapter 8 of my fifth book, Jesus asks us to proclaim Him as the Great I AM.

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ

Proclaim Me as The Great I Am.  I am present today as I was in the days of Noah.  Come to Me and live in the present day only.  Take one day at a time.  Do not live in the past.

I will always be known as The Great I AM.  I have been present with mankind since the beginning of time.  I created the Heavens and the earth.  I was with Adam and Eve in the garden at Eden.  Wherever you go, there I am also. I will never leave your side.  In both good times and bad I walk beside you and hold your hand.  All My dear children are precious to Me.  I love you with all My heart.  Blessed are you when you believe in Me and follow in My Ways.

Not only was God present with Adam and Eve in the garden, but He is also present with us today as well.  He is with us in both good times and bad.  Jesus desires us to live in the present day only.  Leave the past behind and do not fear the future.  If we try to envision what will happen in the future, it will be scary.  God is with us in the present day.  When we live life one day at a time, we can rest assured that God is walking with us.  Whatever we may be facing in life today, we will be able to handle it with the help of God. He will never leave us.

The Two Ways

 January 10, 2025

Verses of the day - Psalm 1:1-2 (NRSV)

Happy are those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or take the path that sinners tread, or sit in the seat of scoffers; but their delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law they meditate day and night.

In chapter 9 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that there are two ways we can live our life.

Excerpt from Called By God

There are two ways to live your life, My dear children.  One way is to follow the ways of the world which are evil.  The other way is to follow the path of the righteous.  Those who follow My Ways delight in Me.  They will be persecuted for their beliefs, but they do not let that stop them.  Be strong in your faith and follow Me.  Everyone who follows Me will be protected.

In life, we have a choice as to how we desire to live.  We can either follow the ways of the world because that is what everyone else is doing, or we can stand out from the crowd and follow Jesus.  Before we are born to New Life In Christ, we are like Nicodemus.  We do not understand anything other than earthly things.  When we are born again, we begin to see things from Jesus' point of view.  We change our ways and become a follower of Jesus instead of being a follower of the world.  When we become a follower of Jesus and our faith is strong, we will be persecuted.  No matter what type of persecution we face because of our belief in Jesus, we will always be protected by the mighty hand of God.

Sharing God's Love

 January 9, 2025

Verses of the day - Mark 11:22-24 (NRSV)

Jesus answered them, 'Have faith in God.  Truly I tell you, if you say to this mountain, "Be take up and thrown into the sea", and if you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.  So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

In chapter nine of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about sharing our experiences with others.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

I desire greatly for My love to be shared with all My dear children.  Many times, when My dear children experience bad things in their lives, they fall away from their faith in Me.  When you share your experiences of miraculous healing with others, many times their faith will be restored.  When you experience hard times in life, come to Me in prayer.  I will lead you in the right direction.  Mankind may have good intentions to help, but only I have the answers you are looking for.

Anytime we come to Jesus in prayer, it pleases Him much,  He desires us to give Him much praise and worship.  When we experience any type of healing providers to us through God, Jesus desires us to share our experience with others so that they may grow in faith and love for Him.  Many times, if we share our experiences with others, they will have an eye-opening experience.  They will be able to see the great love of God through us.

Divine Mercy

 January 8, 2025

Verse of the day - Sirach 2:6 (NRSV)

Trust in him, and he will help you; make your ways straight, and hope in him.

In chapter 7 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about His Divine Mercy.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Trust in My Divine Presence.  I am with you always.  When you trust in My Divine Mercy, miracles can happen.  Come to Me for healing.  Trust and believe, for all things are possible to those who believe, if what you are asking for is a part of My Divine Will.  It is through My Divine Mercy that healing occurs.  When you recite the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, have faith, trust, and believe.  This is the most powerful prayer there is.  Come and allow My Healing Blood and Water to flow over you.

When Jesus was crucified, He poured out His life's Blood for our sake, to save us from final condemnation.  When the soldiers pierced His side, Blood and Water poured forth from His Heart.  There is great healing power in the Blood and Water which gushed forth from His Heart.  When we come to Jesus in prayer and ask for His Precious Blood to pour over us, through faith we will be healed, provided it is part of God's Will.

Experiencing New Life

 January 7, 2025

Verse of the day - John 5:24 (NRSV)

Very truly, I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come under judgement, but has passed from death to life.

In chapter 8 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about New Life In Him.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Many of My dear children are afraid of death and dying.  There is nothing to fear if you know Me as your Lord and Savior.  Death is a beautiful thing.  This is when you see My Glory face to face.  Everything that mattered so much while on earth will no longer matter.  You will join Me forever in your new Heavenly Home.

In the autumn the leaves on the trees turn many different brilliant colors.  This is when the trees die off for the winter months.  Then, in the spring, they burst forth with new life.  The same is true for a human death.  When a person passes from this world, they emerge into the Heavenly Realms to be with Me forever in Paradise.  This is when they truly experience New Life in Me.

Forever In God's Presence

 January 6, 2025

Verse of the day - Psalm 23:4 (NRSV)

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me.

In chapter 12 of my fifth book, Jesus assures us that He will lead and guide us through the rough times in our life.

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ

At the end of time, all My dear children who believed in Me while on earth, will live forever in My Presence.  Only through My Glory will everyone be made whole and become united to me.   Allow My Glory to shine down upon you.  Allow Me to lead the way.  Though the road may be rough, I will lead and guide you through it all. Be not afraid to take My hand.  Through My guidance, My dear children will be led to eternal life.  I am the only Way to Heaven.

While living on earth, we are only passing through to our real home which is Heaven.  Our bodies are only a shell to house our soul.  When we pass away from this earthly life, our souls leave our body, and we will sleep in the dust of the earth for a little while.  At the end of time, our body and soul will be reunited in Heaven and will be made whole once again.  We will then be living in a glorified state in the presence of God.

Protected By God's Armor

 January 5, 2025

Verse of the day - 2 Chronicles 20:17 (NRSV)

This battle is not for you to fight; take your position, stand still, and see the victory of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem. "Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, and the LORD will be with you."

In chapter 1 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that we are protected by His Armor.

Excerpt from Called By God

I give you My Armor to protect you from the evil ways of the world.  I ask that you put it on every day.  My Armor is the greatest protection there is against the devil.  Be strong in your faith and stand up against evil ways.  I always protect My beloved children.  My mighty hand is upon you always.

Ephesians 6:10-20 speaks to us about putting on the Whole Armor of God. To be prepared for the spiritual battles we face in life, we need to put on God's Armor.

When we fasten the belt of truth around our waist, it keeps us from giving in to the way the world believes.  Many times, the way the world believes is not the same as what is taught in the Bible.  We should always be faithful to what is taught to us through the Bible which is God's Word.  When putting on the breastplate of righteousness, we are honest, good, and fair to other people.  We treat one another with respect and help those in need.  We also need to shod our feet with the gospel of peace.  This means being right with God and sharing the Good News of Salvation which is made available to us through Jesus alone.  Next, we need the shield of faith.  Faith in God will protect us when we have doubts.  Through faith, we can rest assured that God will keep His promises.  If God tells us that He will do something for us, He will do it.  He will always fulfill His promises according to His timing.  When we put on the helmet of salvation, we believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and rose again from the dead on the third day.  This resurrection is also known as Easter Sunday.  We use the sword of the Spirit when we tell others about what the Bible says.

Our Forever Home Is In Heaven

 January 4, 2025

Verse of the day - Psalm 14:2 (NRSV)

The LORD looks down from heaven on humankind to see if there are any who are wise, who seek after God.

In chapter 8 of my third book, Jesus tells us that Heaven is our forever home.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

I am The Way, The Truth, and The Life.  Come to Me through the cross so that you may be saved.  It is through My saving grace that anyone will gain eternal life with Me in Heaven.  I desire greatly for My dear children to join Me in their forever home in Heaven at the end of their earthly life.  Life on earth is temporary.  This is only a place of transition for My dear children to travel through while on their way to Heaven.

Though life on earth is temporary, we can look forward to our forever home in Heaven.  As we journey our way through life, let us allow Jesus to be our guide.  Through His guidance, we will be able to transition to our forever home in Heaven at the end of our earthly life.

Persecuted For Doing Right

 January 2, 2025

Verse of the day - Matthew 5:11 (NRSV)

Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against your falsely on my account.

In chapter 5 of my second book, Jesus tells us that we are blessed when we are persecuted for doing right.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

When you are persecuted for doing what is right, you will be truly blessed.  If you follow My Ways instead of the ways of the world, the world will hate you.  They will curse you and utter all kinds of bad things against you because of Me.  Take courage and do not hold it against them.  Do not be afraid to follow My Ways instead of the ways of the world.  By following My Ways, you will be able to save many people from final condemnation.  Anyone who follows Me during their earthly life, will join Me in Heaven when their final hour comes.

Jesus desires us to follow Him instead of the ways of the world. It takes great courage to do as Jesus asks.  If we follow the ways of the world, the world will love us.  If we follow the Ways of Christ, we will be hated by the world but Jesus has asked us not to hold it against them.

Letting Go Of Anger And Bitterness

 January 1, 2025

Verses of the day - Matthew 18:21-22 (NRSV)

Then Peter came and said to him, 'Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive?  As many as seven times?'  Jesus said to him, 'Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.

In chapter 10 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about the danger of gossiping.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Many times, My dear children say they never murdered anyone.  They may not have done so physically, but when participating in gossip, it is the same thing.  When gossiping, it kills the other person's reputation.  Once a person's reputation is ruined, it is hard to regain good stature.  When someone hurts you deeply, come to Me and talk about it.  I can alleviate your pain and make you feel better.  By going to someone else and telling them how bad a certain person hurt you, you ruin the other person's reputation unintentionally.  Also by speaking poorly of someone else, it will make you feel even more bitter towards that person.  Let all anger and bitterness go, and turn everything over to Me.  I will give you rest.
