The Day The World Stood Still

 December 19, 2024

Verse of the day - John 19:30 (NRSV)

When Jesus had received the wine, he said, 'It is finished.' Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

In chapter 6 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about the day He gave His life over to His Father in Heaven.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

The entire world stood still the day I gave My life over to My Father in Heaven.  The Roman Soldiers who put Me to death on the cross, realized what they did.  This was a very dark day in history.  My Mother Mary and My disciple John never left My side.  I gave My Mother to you on this day.  I ask that you love her and give her respect just as I did.  Do not be afraid to ask for help from us.  I am your Heavenly Father.  Mary is your Heavenly Mother.  In times of great despair, do not be afraid to pour your heart out before us.  We will always be with you and will never leave your side.  Allow us to take you by the hand and lead the way in which we desire you to walk.

Through Mary saying "YES" to becoming the Mother of Jesus, it was made possible for Jesus to come to earth.  At the age of thirty, Jesus began His main ministry.  He taught His disciples for three years before He was crucified on the cross.  The sky grew dark as Jesus died on the cross because they crucified the Light of the World.  Three days later, Jesus rose from the grave.  He is always with us in the Spiritual Form.

This Christmas Season I would like to say thank you to Mary for saying "YES" to becoming the Mother of Jesus.  Thank you also to Jesus, my Lord and Savior, for with your tremendous sacrifice on our behalf so that everyone who believes in you will gain Eternal Life in Heaven with you.
