God Knows What Is Best For Us

 December 26, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 7:11 (NRSV)

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

In chapter 1 of my second book, Jesus tells us that He knows what is best.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I will never lead or guide My dear children in the wrong direction.  Trust Me and have faith.  I know what is best for My dear little ones.  When I say no, many times My dear children become very angry and upset with Me because they do not understand.  I plead with you to please listen to My answers.  I will never lead you wrong.  In time, when someone hears the word no, it means that I have something much better in store for that person.  Until the blinders are removed from My dear children's eyes, they will continue to be bitter and upset.  Come back to Me with your whole heart.  Listen to My Words and be set free.  I know what lies ahead in your future.  In time, when looking back at certain situations, it will become clear why the answer was no.  It is then that many of My dear children will stop and give Me thanks.  Always remember to stop and give Me praise and thanksgiving for everything in your life.  Everything happens for a reason.

Sometimes during life, when we call out to God in prayer, the answer He gives us is "No".  At the time, we may not understand why the answer was "No" and sometimes we will become angry or upset.  There have been times in my life when I said a prayer and God's answer is "No".  At the time, I did not understand why but later on it was shown to me that His answer was for the best.  Like a loving Father, Jesus will only do what is best for us.  Only God knows what is best for us, and He desires no harm to come to us.
