Verse of the day - John 6:35 (NRSV)
Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
In chapter 11 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about His true presence in the Eucharist.
Excerpt from Come Back To Me
I am truly present in the Eucharist. Anytime you receive the Eucharist, you receive Me. I am the Bread of Life. I desire everyone to receive this bread, for it is through this bread that you gain eternal life. Eternal life is given to everyone who comes to know Me as their Lord and Savior. I desire everyone to allow Me to enter their heart through the Eucharist. It is through this great gift that you become more like Me. Each time you allow Me to come into your heart through the Eucharist, I remain with you. Through this gift, I am with you always.
I have experienced the true presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. They say that you cannot see the face of God in the Eucharist but on multiple occasions I have. One time I was at a healing mass. The first time the Eucharist was elevated, I saw the face of Jesus. The second time it was elevated during the same mass, I saw the face of Jesus again but only this time I also saw the crown of thorns on His head. This is only one of many experiences that I have had, but the greatest experience I ever had happened when I recently took a trip to Alabama to the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament. I was sitting in the church and focused on the Eucharist. I found myself saying, "Show me your face." As soon as I said that, the Eucharist became super bright! It was so blinding that I had to look away! The presence of Jesus in the Eucharist that day was brighter than the diamond ring of a solar eclipse!
