A Special Gift From Jesus

 April 29, 2024

Verse of the day - Luke 22:19 (NRSV)

Then he took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, 'This is my body, which is given for you.  Do this in remembrance of me.'

In chapter three of my first book, Jesus speaks to us His special gift that He gives to us.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

I come to you in more ways than one.  I am present with you always.  I created you to desire to be in My presence.  Take a look around at the sunrises and sunsets, the beauty of nature.  I created it all and am present in all.  I am especially present in the Eucharist  The Eucharist is My special gift to you.   It is My way of being with you until the end of time.

Eternity In Heaven

 April 26, 2024

Verse of the day - Daniel 12:3 (NRSV)

Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

In chapter 7 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about spending eternity with Him.

Excerpt for Called By God

I call to My dear children to come before the cross and believe in Me.  Those who believe in Me, follow in My Ways, and bring others to Me while on earth will spend eternity with Me in Heaven.  At the end of time, I will call forth all who have lived their faith from the grave.  They will be raised up.  Then all who are still alive will be called up to meet Me in the air  I will take everyone to their Heavenly Home to live with Me forever.  Be bold and proclaim your faith to one another so that more of My dear children will be saved from final condemnation.  Blessed are you when you believe in Me.

We are called by God to boldly proclaim our faith to one another.  Through sharing our faith with others, many who do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, will come to know Him through us.  Everyone has been assigned a mission in life.  When the work we have been assigned to do while living of earth has been accomplished, we will be called home to Heaven.  This will be a day of great rejoicing!  Let us all come before the cross of Christ so that we may one day be rejoicing before Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Child-like faith

 April 25, 2024

Verse of the day - Ephesians 2:8 (NRSV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God -

In the sixth chapter of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about coming to Him in child-like faith.

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

My dear children, I love each of you so much.  Everyone is special to Me.  Come to Me with the faith of a child.  Believe in Me.  Through Me, all things are possible to those who believe.  The faith of a small child is great.  They believe with all their heart.  Open your hearts to receive this type of faith.  When your children are small, teach them about Me.  Allow them to come to Me in prayer.  It is through prayer that they will continue to grow in their love for Me.

Jesus desires us to come to Him in child-like faith.  When we were small children, we turned to our earthly father and mother for guidance and assistance.  We trusted that they would lead us in the right direction and keep us safe from harm.  As we grow older, we can still turn to them for advice.  If we feel as though we have been abandoned by our earthly parents, or they have passed on to eternal life in Heaven with God our Father, we should try to remember that we are never alone.  Jesus is our Heavenly Father and Mary is our Heavenly Mother.  In our time of need, if we come to Jesus and Mary in child-like faith, we will receive the answers to the questions we have.  They will always be there for us.  Our human tendency is to find someone on earth we can talk to.  Even though we as humans have good intentions to help one another in times of need and distress, only Jesus has the true answers we are searching for.

Lost Sheep

 April 24, 2024

Verses of the day -  Matthew 18:12-14 (NRSV)

What do you think?  If a shepherd has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?  And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.  So it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.

In chapter three of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about finding the lost sheep of the world.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Being one of My disciples means being there for one another.  Always be prepared to share the Good News of My Salvation with the lost sheep of this world.  I will reveal to you who they are and how I will you to help them.  Some may come to know Me as their Lord and Savior almost immediately after getting to know you.  For other lost sheep, it will take longer to find their way back to Me.  Never give up on them, for one day, they too will come to know Me because of the works you do.  That is why you should never be afraid to speak up on My behalf.  You never know how you will touch another person's life.  If you do not know what to say, ask Me and I will guide your words.  I will give you the words of Everlasting Life to speak on My behalf.  Be not afraid to use this great gift that I give to you.  This is how many lives will be touched and changed for the better.

Forgiven By God

 April 22, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 32:1 (NRSV)

HAPPY  are those whose transgression is forgiven.

In the sixth chapter of my first book Jesus speaks to us about His forgiveness.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

My dear children, the love I have for you is great.  My heart burns with desire for all to come to me in repentance.  My desire for for everyone to come to the foot of the cross and ask for forgiveness of their sins.  I gave My own body and blood for this very purpose.  When you come to the foot of the cross and confess your sins before Me, they are forgiven.  I remember your sins no more.

When we have sinned, Jesus desires us to come to Him and ask for forgiveness.  Through the sacrament of Reconciliation we are forgiven.  When we sin, no matter how big or little the sin is, we sin against God.  Jesus poured out His life's Blood on the cross to save us from our sins.  Through His Blood we are forgiven.  As He was dying on the cross, He cried out to His Father in Heaven and said, "Father do not hold this sin against them."  Not only did he forgive everyone who persecuted Him at the time, He also forgave us.  We were on His mind while He suffered for the sins of the world.  We will be forgiven by God for the sins we commit, if we ask Him.  He is ready and waiting for us to reach out to Him.

The Good Shepherd

 April 21, 2024

Verse of the day - John 10:11 (NRSV)

I am the good shepherd.  The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

In Chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that He is the good shepherd.

Excerpt from Called By God.

Many are lost and do not know how to find their way back to Me, the Good Shepherd.  It is up to My followers to seek and find the lost sheep of the world.  If you do not know what to say, ask Me and I will lead you.  I will always give you the words I desire you to say on My behalf.  Be not afraid to share My Words.

Jesus desires us to be bold in our faith.  There are many people who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior yet.  It is up to us to help everyone we can to come to the Cross of Christ.  When we come to the Cross of Christ, it is here where where we will find peace and everlasting joy.  Through the Cross of Christ, we will come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior.  Jesus desires us to share His Love with everyone we meet.  We may never know what another person is going through, but Jesus does.  When we share the love of Christ with others, they in turn will share God's love with someone else.  Many times, others will not know what it is like to be loved until we share God's love with them.

God's Great Mercy

 April 20, 2024

Verse of the day - Deuteronomy 4:31 (NRSV)

Because the LORD your God is a merciful God, he will neither abandon you nor destroy you; he will not forget the covenant with your ancestors that he swore to them.

In Chapter 2 of my third book Jesus speaks to us about His Mercy.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Many times, My dear children are judgmental of one another.  I ask that you refrain from this.  I desire that you show mercy to everyone.  Everyone makes mistakes and you are all dear to Me.  You are all brothers and sisters in Christ.  As hard as life may be sometimes, I still desire everyone to show mercy to each other.  Blessed are you when you show mercy.  Mercy will in turn be given to you.  Receive it graciously.  Be  thankful for the gifts I give to you.  The two biggest I have given to this creation was sacrificing Myself on the cross for the sins of the world.  The other was giving Myself to My dear children through the Eucharist.  Through this gift, I am with you until the end of time.  Come and receive My mercy and love.

We all make mistakes but through the great love and mercy of God, we are forgiven.  Jesus desires us to be merciful to one another as well.  When we show mercy to one another, we are compassionate and forgiving.

Never Alone

 April 19, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 23:1 (NRSV)

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

In chapter 6 of my second book Jesus tells us that He desires us to come to Him for help.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

My dear children were not meant to walk alone with their burdens.  How I desire more of My dear children to come before Me for help.  I am always here for you.  Be not afraid to ask Me for anything.  I know your needs before you ask.  I alone know the answers to the questions you have lingering in your mind.  When you are heavily burdened by the problems of this world, come to the foot of the cross.  It is here where you will find rest.  I always bring comfort to My dear children in their time of need.

When we come to Jesus in our time of need, He will bring us great comfort.  Anytime we carry heavy burdens, we should bring them to the foot of the cross.  This is what Jesus desires us to do.  It is here where we will find a great release.  When we become yoked with Jesus, we walk with each other side by side.  It is much easier to handle the burdens of life if we allow Jesus to help us carry the weight of the world.  We were not meant to walk through life alone.  Just as two oxen are yoked together to help each other, so too must we yoke ourselves to Jesus, our Lord and Savior.

No Condemnation

 April 18, 2024

Verse of the day - Proverbs 28:13

No one who conceals transgressions will prosper, but one who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

In chapter 5 of my first book, Jesus tells us that He does not condemn us.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Complete forgiveness will be given to all who come to Me.  With My forgiveness, there is no condemnation.  So come to Me and repent of your sins. When you confess your sins to Me, you gain freedom from the devil.  This is what the devil thrives on.  He is the father of lies and will try to convince you that there is no need to confess your sins.  Be firm and stand up to his tactics.  You will gain overwhelming joy.

As humans we all sin.  Nobody is perfect except for Jesus and Mary His Mother.  When we realize the things in our lives that cause us to sin, we need to try to avoid whatever it may be.  Most of us, if not all, have our weaknesses that cause us to sin.  We need to seek the help of Jesus and Mary so that we may grow stronger.  Through their help we will be able to avoid the things in our lives that cause us to distance ourselves from God.

Receiving God's Grace

 April 17, 2024

Verse of the day - The Wisdom of Solomon 3:9 (NRSV)

Those who trust in him will understand truth, and the faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and mercy are upon his holy ones, and he watches over his elect.

In chapter nine of my 4th book, Jesus speaks to us about His grace.

Excerpt from Called By God

Come to the throne and receive My grace.  I give it freely to all who come before Me.  Be not afraid to come before Me.  Allow Me to wrap you in My loving arms.  In times of need, I will always be there for you.

When we receive God's grace, we are given something that we do not deserve.  Even though we are sinners, He forgives us through His grace.  We have a very loving God who loves us so much that He gave up His life in order to save us from our sins.  Jesus will always be there for us in our time of need.  During our times of great distress, if we reach out to God, He will wrap us in His mantle of love.

Love One Another

 April 16, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 22:36-39 (NRSV)

'Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?'  He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." This is the greatest and first commandment. And the second is like it: "You shall love your neighbour as yourself."

In chapter 10 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about loving one another.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

I call My dear children to be servants to one another.  At the Last Supper, I became a servant to My disciples by washing their feet.  I did this as an example.  Just as I served My original twelve disciples, I also desire you to serve your fellow brothers and sisters.  Everyone is brothers and sisters in Christ.  Anytime you see someone in need, stop to help them.  Just as you serve them, you are also serving Me.  Love one another as I have loved you. Always be there for one another.

Whether we are related by blood or not, we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.  We are all children of God.  He loves us so much that He gave up His life for us.  At the last supper, He gave us an example as to how He desires us to serve one another.  If we keep our eyes open, we will be able to see how we can help one another on this journey called life.  It could be as simple as helping someone carry an item or spending time with a person who is by themself.  When we serve one another in life, we are also serving Jesus because He lives inside each of us.

Eternal Life

 April 15, 2024

Verse of the day - Matthew 5:3 (NRSV)

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

In Chapter 5 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about Eternal Life.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Eternal life is My gift to everyone who follows Me while on earth.  It is My desire that everyone would come home to Heaven at the end of their earthly life.  When someone follow My Ways, instead of the ways of the world, it pleases Me much.  It should be everyone's desire to spend eternity in Heaven with Me, yet there are many who do not.  Seek Me first, then the kingdom of God shall be yours.

When we are poor in spirit, we realize that we are nothing without God.  Without God's help, we would not be able to survive.  We need to look to God each day through prayer.  With His guidance, He will lead us in the right direction.  When we live each day for God, when we pass away from this earth, we will join Jesus in Heaven for all eternity.

Everlasting Peace

 April 14, 2024

Verse of the day - Psalm 32:1 (NRSV)

In chapter 6 of my first book, Jesus tells us that we can receive His everlasting peace.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Many times, My dear children remember the mistakes they have made in the past.  Release these unto Me and receive My everlasting peace.  The devil desires everyone to remember their past mistakes.  By doing this he robs you of you peace.  Take control, be strong in your faith, and know that you are forgiven.  Allow My Precious Blood to flow over you and heal you of all of your transgressions.

We all make mistakes that we sometimes wish we would not have made.  I have often found myself reliving what I did in the past.  It is in times like these which cause me much unnecessary stress.  When I  release everything over to God, my life becomes much easier.  It is the devil who desires us to remember everything we have done wrong.  When we dwell on the past, we can become miserable.  By turning everything over to God, He will take over our situation and bring us a peace that surpasses all understanding.  Let us all bring our cares and concerns before God and receive His peace and joy in our hearts.

Serve One Another

 April 12, 2024

Verse of the day - John 13:16 (NRSV)

Very truly, I tell you, servants are not greater than their master, nor are messengers greater than the one who sent them.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus calls us to serve one another.

Excerpt from Called By God.

You are called to serve Me and serve others.  Be not afraid to reach out to others in love, for I love everyone equally.  I call My dear children to do the same.  By serving others, you also serve Me.  When I walked on the face of the earth, I served others as an example.  I desire My dear children to follow My lead.  Help everyone you meet by offering to lend a helping hand.  Even if someone does not need any help, pray for them, in the silence of your heart.  They will be blessed without knowing it.

While living on earth, Jesus gave us many examples of how we can serve one another.  One of these examples was given to us at the Last Supper.  Even though He did not have to do it, He washed the feet of His disciples.   Anytime we offer a helping hand to someone in need, we are following what Jesus desires us to do.

Faith Builder

 April 11, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 13:31-32 (NRSV)

He put before them another parable: 'The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.'

In Chapter 6 of my third book Jesus speaks to us about sharing our faith with other people.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Many times, My dear children's faith begins as small.  Even if someone has the faith of a mustard seed, if it is watered and nurtured, just like in nature, it will grow to be large.  The more My dear children learn from one another, the more the seeds of faith will grow.  Be not afraid to share your faith with one another.  No one knows the impact they will have on another person when they share their faith.  Be a faith builder.  Allow others to come to know Me through you.  Be not afraid to speak up when I give you words to say.  I give them to you for a reason.  The words that are spoken to My dear children may just be what is needed at a certain point in time.

When we, the children of God, have faith the size of a mustard seed we can do great things.  Even if our faith begins as small as a mustard seed, if we nurture it with the Word of God, it will grow.  The mustard seed is the smallest of all seeds.  Even though it is the smallest, it grows to be large.  The same  is true for our faith life.  We may start off slow, but in time, through the love of God, family, and friends we will grow in our faith.  The more the love of God is shared with us, the more we will grow.  We should never be afraid to share our faith with others.  We never know how we will touch another person's life.

Worthy Of Love

 April 10, 2024

Verse of the day - Exodus 14:14 (NRSV)

The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to keep still.

In chapter 10 of my second book Jesus reminds us that we are worthy of His love.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

You are worthy of all My love.  I will never leave you or forsake you.  Even if everyone would abandon you, you are never alone.  Reach out to Me in your times of need.  You are precious in My sight.  I love you, and you are mine.  Do not allow anyone or anything to make you feel unworthy of My love.  I love you so much that I gave My life for you.

Gifts

 April 8, 2024

Verse of the day - Ephesians 4:7 (NRSV)

But each of us was given grace according to the measure of Christ's gift.

In the fifth chapter of my first book Jesus speaks to us about the gifts that gives to us.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Be not envious of the gifts that I give to My other dear children.  I give My gifts to each person according to My Will.  When you become jealous of one another, it hurts Me deeply.  I desire you to be happy for one another.

We all have gifts that were given to us by God.  When we know what our God given gifts are, we should use them to the best of our ability.  Sometimes in life, we may become jealous of the abilities other people have been given.  Jesus desires us to be happy for one another.  When we become jealous, it hurts Him deeply.

False Prophets

 April 6, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 7:21-23 (NRSV)

'Not everyone who says to me, "Lord, Lord", will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only one who does the will of my Father in heaven.  On that day many will say to me, "Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?"  Then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.

In Chapter 8 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about False Prophets.

Excerpt from Called By God

Many of My dear children will be deceived by false prophets.  In the end, there will be many who claim to be prophets of Mine.  They will perform miracles and mimic My true followers.  Before following them, test what they say and do against what is in The Bible.  If it does not match, do not follow them.  Stand up to them and be bold in proclaiming your faith.  At the end of the world, only My faithful followers will enter the kingdom of Heaven.

The Crown Of Life

 April 5, 2024

Verse of the day - Revelation 2:10 (NRSV)

Do not fear what you are about to suffer.  Beware, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have affliction.  Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

In my third book in the third chapter, Jesus speaks to us about the Crown of Life.

The crown of life will indeed be given to you in Heaven if you follow My Ways while on earth.  Do not fear persecution.  Many of My dear followers endure much for My sake.  Be faithful and endure to the end.  Behold, you will see My glory face to face.

Being a follower of Jesus may be hard to do at times.  Even if we face persecution for our faith in God and following in His Ways, Jesus desires us to endure to the end.  We may not see the results of the work we do for God while we are alive, but in the end it will all be worth it.  Let us all boldly proclaim God's Word and help lead others back to Jesus so that one day we may be in Heaven.

Forgiveness

 April 2, 2024

Verses of the day - Matthew 18:21-22 (NRSV)

Then Peter came ad said to him, 'Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?'  Jesus said to him, 'Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.

In Chapter 4 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about forgiveness.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me - Jesus' Plea To The World

Learn to forgive yourself.  Others may have forgiven you a long time ago but if you hold on to your mistakes, they will continue to eat away at you.  This is the work of the the devil.  He enjoys it when My dear children beat themselves up over past mistakes.  When you learn to let go, the devil loses his joy.  Regain your freedom by forgiving yourself.  Love yourself the way I love you, then pass that love on to one another.  The more you forgive, the more your love for Me and others will grow.  Be not afraid to do this.

It is through the Precious Blood of Jesus that we are forgiven of our sins.  Jesus loves us so much that He gave up His life for us! Just as Jesus loves us and forgives us of our wrongdoings, He desires us to do the same.  With the help of God we will be able to forgive the things that have been done to us in the past.  When we truly forgive someone, we will not remember the offense the next time we see the person.  This takes great grace to do. With God all things are possible.

Spiritual Gifts

 April 1, 2024

Verses of the day - Ephesians 4:11-13 (NRSV)

The gifts he gave were that some would be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ.

In Chapter six of my first book Jesus speaks to us about the gifts that we have been given.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

I desire greatly for many to serve Me to the best of their abilities.  Do not be afraid to use the gifts that I have given you.  The gifts that I have given you are meant to be shared.  Everyone has been gifted with something.  When you discover what your talent is, use it to the best of your ability to serve Me.

We are all called to use the gifts that we have been given to serve God the best way we can.  Some examples of the gifts that we may have been given are the ability to listen to another person's problems, the ability to speak in front of other people, being a prayer warrior, writing, or being loving and kind.  These are only a few of the many gifts that we may have received from God.  When we see the gifts God has given other people, we should not be afraid to let the other person know what we see.  Sometimes the other person does not recognize the gifts they have been given until someone else tells them.  This was the case for me.  May we all use our God given gifts to the best of our ability. God Bless.
