Exodus 14:14

 July 28, 2023

Verse of the day - Exodus 14:14 (NRSV)

The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to keep still.

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

Jesus said:

You are worthy of all My love.  I will never leave you for forsake you.  Even if everyone would abandon you, you are never alone.  Reach out to Me in your times of need.  You are precious in My sight.  I love you, and you are mine.  Do not allow anyone or anything to make you feel unworthy of My love.  I love you so much that I gave My life for you.

Psalm 32:1

 July 27, 2023

Verse of the day - Psalm 32:1 (NRSV)

Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Excerpt from first book - Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Jesus said:

Everyone must repent and ask for My forgiveness of sins. I am always here and ready to forgive.  It is out of the hardness of hearts that people don't confess their sins.  I desire My children to soften their hearts, and come to Me in the sacrament of Reconciliation.  There is great freedom achieved through this sacrament.  Freedom from overwhelming guilt and freedom from the power of the devil will be given to you.  Come and experience the overwhelming freedom and joy that I can give.

In Luke 15 vs 7 it says: Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance.  It was through the death of Jesus on the cross that we receive forgiveness of sins.  It brings Jesus great joy when we come to Him with repentant hearts. When we come to Jesus with open hearts, and receive His forgiveness for the sins we have committed, we will experience great joy and freedom.

Psalm 105:2

 July 26, 2023

Verse of the day - Psalm 105:2

Sing to him, sing praises to him; tell of all his wonderful works.

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

Jesus said:

Sacrifice your time and spend it with Me by giving Me praise and worship.  Giving Me praise and worship during hard times may be hard to do and may seem strange to do, but in time it will become easier.  In both good times and in bad, I desire to be praised.  I bring everything in your life to you for a reason.

In both good times and in bad, Jesus desires us to give Him praise.  Job experienced many bad things in his life because God allowed it.  This was a test to see if Job would remain faithful and still praise God despite everything that happened to him.  Job was a faithful follower of God and passed the test.  Even though he suffered greatly, in all of his suffering he still praised God. In the end, because of Job's faithfulness, God blessed him abundantly.  Many times, in life we will struggle with certain problems.  Just like Job, Jesus desires us to continue to praise Him.

Psalm 9:18

 July 25, 2023

Verse of the day - Psalm 9:18

For the needy shall not always be forgotten, nor the hope of the poor perish for ever.

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

Jesus said:

Many times, My dear children do not know how to lead a virtuous life.  Anytime you help one another you are being virtuous.  I call My dear children to help one another.  There are many ways this can be done.  Anytime My dear children have an excessive amount of clothing that they no longer wear, it could be donated to help the less fortunate.  Donating food or helping serve meals is another way to be virtuous  Sometimes My dear children need extra prayers.  Anytime you take time to pray for someone in need, they will be blessed without them even knowing it.  Be not afraid to be open to My call.

John 3:36

 July 24, 2023

Verse of the day - John 3:36 (NRSV)

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever disobeys the Son will not see life, but must endure God's wrath.

Excerpt from first book - Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Jesus said:

I desire everyone to come to know Me as their Lord and Savior.  Everyone who comes to know Me as their Lord and Savior will experience new life in Me.  When someone experiences new life in Me, they no longer follow the ways of the world.  Instead, they follow Me and I give them everlasting life.

When we are born to new life in Christ, our lives are changed forever.  We will see things in a new light.  Our eyes will be opened to the evil things happening in the world.  We will no longer enjoy the things we used to and focus more on God's work.  We are called by God in different ways.  When we discover what our calling in life is, we will then be able to follow God's calling and help lead others back to the loving arms of Jesus.  Through Jesus, we have newness of life.

John 13:34

 July 22, 2023

Verse of the day - John 13:34 (NRSV)

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.  Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

Jesus said:

Love your neighbor as yourself.  Many times, My dear children feel as though their neighbor is only the person who lives next to them.  This is not the case.  Your neighbor is everyone you meet throughout the day.  Be kind to everyone you meet.  Nobody knows the types of crosses another person carries.  By loving your neighbor as yourself, many times the burdens of life can be relieved.  I ask My dear children to help one another on their journey through life.  Love one another as I have loved you.  Be there for one another as I have also been there for you.

Exodus 20:2-3

 July 21, 2023

Verses of the day - Exodus 20:2-3 (NRSV)

I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, you shall have no other gods before me.

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

Jesus said:

In the time of Moses, the Israelites made for themselves the golden calf to worship.  They believed that this is what they needed to worship after being released from Egypt.  They forgot that it was I who was in their midst.  This angered Me greatly.  I alone should be worshipped.  They did not realize who I was.   Even though I was not present in human form at the time, I was present and working through Moses, My servant.

Proverbs 1:23

 July 20, 2023

Verse of the day - Proverbs 1:23 (NRSV)

Give heed to my reproof;  I will pour out my thought to you; I will make my words known to you.

Excerpt from first book - Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Jesus said:

I speak My words of wisdom in the hearts of My people.  There are many who do not know how to listen to My voice.  To hear My voice, find a quiet place to be alone with Me.  Spend personal time with Me every day.  Not only do I speak to My people in their hearts, I also speak through the Bible.  Many times, if anyone among you closes their eyes and then opens the Bible, there will be a special message waiting for you to read.  If something is read, but not understood, ask Me for an explanation and I will help you understand.

1 Corinthians 13:11

 July 18, 2023

Verse of the day - 1 Corinthians 13:11 (NRSV)

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways.

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

Jesus said:

Before you come to know Me as Lord and Savior, you will behave as a child.  Those who do not yet know Me will do as they please.  Once you come to know Me as your Lord and Savior, you will follow My Ways.  Bring others with you to the cross so that they may repent also and be saved.

Before we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we as little children, go our own way.  We follow the ways of the world because we do not know any better.  Once we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will follow the ways of Christ instead of the ways of the world.  It is our duty to bring our fellow brothers and sisters to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Even if we are not brothers and sisters by blood relation, we are under the mighty hand of God!

Romans 8:15

 July 17, 2023

Verse of the day - Romans 8:15 (NRSV)

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption.  When we cry, 'Abba! Father!

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

Jesus said:

My timing is always right.  I protect My beloved children always.  You have nothing to fear if you know Me as your Lord and Savior.  Fear is a work of the devil.  The devil desires you to have great fear of many things.  Do not allow the devil to steal your joy by causing you to have great fear.  Fear not, for I am with you always.  I walk beside you every day of your life.

Jeremiah 24:7

 July 16, 2023

Verse of the day - Jeremiah 24:7 (NRSV)

I will give them a heart to know that I am the LORD; and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their whole heart.

Excerpt from first book - Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Jesus said:

Many times, My dear children are not aware of My Presence within them.  Whenever you treat one another with brotherly kindness, many times they will see Me within you.  Sometimes it will create a spark that they never knew was inside of them.  They in turn will then begin to do kind things for other people.  Be not afraid to help one another.  This is how knowledge of Me spreads.

We all need to be kind to one another and help each other on this journey called life.  We are all brothers and sisters in Christ.  It does not matter what race or religion we are.  We are all the same in God's eyes.  He loves us unconditionally and will do anything for us that we ask in His name, provided it is His Will for us.  Only God alone knows each and every one of our needs.

Psalm 95:2

 July 15, 2023

Verse of the day - Psalm 95:2 (NRSV)

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

Jesus said:

Come to Me and give Me praise and thanksgiving for all I have given you.  Share your experiences with others so that they may grow in faith and love for Me.  I am worthy to be praised.  I desire that from all My dear children.  In both sickness and in health, there is always something to be thankful for.  It gives Me great honor when My dear children have a thankful and grateful heart.

Anytime we come to Jesus in prayer, it pleases Him much.  He desires us to give Him much praise and worship.  When we experience any type of healing provided to us through God, Jesus desires us to share our experience with others so that they may grow in faith and love for Him.  Many times, if we share our experience with others, they will have an eye-opening experience.  They will be able to see the great love of God through us.

Sirach 1:23

 July 14, 2023

Verse of the day - Sirach 1:23 (NRSV)

Those who are patient stay calm until the right moment, and then cheerfulness comes back to them.

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

Jesus said:

Patience is virtue.  Waiting on My timing may be hard, but everything will work out for the best.  When you wait patiently for My answer, that shows faith.  Even though you may not always understand the answer that I give you, it is always the right answer.  I will never guide you wrong.  Place all your cares and worries into My hands.  I will lead and guide you through everything.  Be not afraid to come before Me with all your needs.  I will always supply for you what you need.  I love you and you are Mine.

Luke 12:22-23

 July 13, 2023

Verses of the day - Luke 13:22-23 (NRSV)

He said to his disciples, 'Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or what you you will wear.  For life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.

Excerpt from first book - Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Jesus said:

When you worry about things, it shows your distrust in Me.  This hurts Me greatly.  I want everyone to put complete trust in Me.  Nothing will happen to you that you and I can't  handle together.  Worry is the work of the devil.  He wants you to worry about everything.  Worry causes illness and disease.  Turn everything over to Me.  Bring everything to the foot of the cross.  Without worry there is much greater joy in life.

Psalm 119:105

 July 12, 2023

Verse of the day - Psalm 119:105 (NRSV)

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

Jesus said:

Allow Me to be the light to your path.  With Me as your guide, you shall not stumble or fall.  Read My Words in the Bible daily.  My Words are nourishment for the soul.  Just as the body needs food to nourish it, so does the soul need the word of God to help it survive the most trying times in life.

Psalm 145:8

 July 11, 2023

Verse of the day - Psalm 145:8 (NRSV)

The LORD is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

Jesus said:

St. Faustina was very near and dear to Me.  She suffered much for Me.  It was through her I gave the words of the Divine Mercy Chaplet.  Through this Chaplet, many of My dear children are saved.  There is great power in this prayer, and I desire more of My dear children to recite it.  All praise, honor, and glory are given to Me through the words of this powerful prayer.  Any who come to Me and recite this prayer will be heard.  If the Divine Mercy Chaplet is said by the bedside of a dying person, their soul shall be saved.

John 20:21

 July 10, 2023

Verse of the day - John 20:21 (NRSV)

Jesus said to them again, 'Peace be with you.  As the Father has sent me, so I send you.

Excerpt from first book - Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Jesus said:

Do not listen to what the world tells you.  Follow your heart, for it is through your heart that I speak to you.  Talking to friends and family about your problems may give you temporary peace of mind, but if you come to Me, I will give you everlasting peace.

Sometimes we as humans desire to get help from family and friends with problems that we experience in life.  Jesus desires us to come to Him.  When life gets too hard to handle, if we say, "Jesus help me!", He will come to our aide and help us carry our crosses.  When we walk with Jesus, we are attached to each other like two oxen in a yoke.  Just as the oxen work together as a team to lighten the load, we also should walk with Jesus by our side.  If we do this, our load will be lightened and we will be able to cope with our problems much better.

Ephesians 2:8

 July 8, 2023

Verse of the day - Ephesians 2:8 (NRSV)

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

Jesus said:

I desire more of My dear children to become disciples by sharing the Good News of My Salvation.  Come and gather around My Banquet Table.  Be strong in your faith and bring other dear children back to Me.  I am here waiting for you.

Jeremiah 29:11

 July 4, 2023

Verse of the day - Jeremiah 29:11 (NRSV)

For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the LORD, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

When you are weighed down by the worries of the world,  I will bring you peace.  Come and be in My Presence.  Talk to Me about the things that are disturbing you.  I understand better than any human.  I know what is on your mind and in your heart.  When you are afraid and feel alone, come to Me.  I will give you rest.  Relax and enjoy My Life Saving Water.  While spending time in My Presence you will feel refreshed and renewed.  Learn to receive My peace and take it with you everywhere you go.

1 Timothy 2:3-4

 July 3, 2023

Verses of the day - 1 Timothy 2:3-4 (NRSV)

This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires everyone to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Excerpt from first book - Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Jesus said:

I give the gift of knowledge to those who are open to My call.  Be not afraid to be open. By being open, I am able to share many great things with you.  Many times My dear children are closed off to hearing the words I have to speak to them. They are too involved with earthly things to hear My voice.  I desire more of My dear children to be open to My call.

Knowledge is knowing what God wants us to do.  We all have different callings in life.  In order to know what we are to do, we need to listen to God's voice.  The best way to do this is to spend alone time with Him.  He speaks to us in the silence of our heart.  God knows all things and sees all things.  He would love to pass on the gift of knowledge to us.  We need to open our hearts and let Him.

1 John 5:3-4

 July 2, 2023

Verses of the day - 1 John 5:3-4 (NRSV)

For the love of God is this, that we obey his commandments.  And his commandments are not burdensome, for whatever is born of God conquers the world.  And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.

Excerpt from third book - Come To The Cross

Jesus said:

Be holy as I am Holy.  Be not afraid to follow Me.  Blessed are you when people come against you because of your faith in Me.  Do not let the things of this world, cause you to falter.  Remain strong in your faith.  When you are close to Me, the devil will try to get you to stray in your ways.  If this should happen, I will always send someone into your life to lead you back to Me.

Matthew 18:21-22

 July 1, 2023

Verses of the day - Matthew 18:21-22

Then Peter came and said to him, 'Lord, if another member of the church sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times?' Jesus said to him, 'Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.'

Excerpt from second book - Come Back To Me

Jesus said:

Many times, My dear children turn to one another for help.  I am the one that people should turn to.  Only I know your situation and everything you have been through.  Not only does everyone have someone they need to forgive, but they also need to learn how to forgive themselves.  Many times, My dear children do things they regret.  They tend to carry these things with them for a great deal of their lives.  Learn to let go of things done in the past.  When you let go of past mistakes, you will find great peace of mind.

Sometimes we as humans feel as though we have forgiven the person who has offended us.  If we have truly forgiven someone from the heart, we will not remember the offense next time we see the person. If we are reminded of what a certain person did to us when we see them again, we have not truly forgiven them. Jesus desires us to continue forgiving the offense until we no longer remember it.

Sometimes we can be our own worst enemies.  Sometimes when we make mistakes, we tend to beat ourselves up over it.  We relive the past mistakes over and over in our mind.  Everyone makes mistakes. When we make a mistake, we need to learn how to forgive ourselves. By not forgiving ourselves, the devil has control over us.  When we learn how to forgive ourselves, the devil will lose his grip over us, and we will regain our freedom.
