Receiving God's Grace

Verse of the day - The Wisdom Of Solomon 3:9 (NRSV)

Those who trust in him will understand truth, and the faithful will abide with him in love, because grace and mercy are upon his holy ones, and he watches over his elect.

In chapter 9 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about His Grace.

Excerpt from Called By God

Come to the throne and receive My Grace.  I give it freely to all who come before Me.  Be not afraid to come before Me.  Allow Me to wrap you in My loving arms.  In times of need, I will always be there for you.

 Jesus invites us to come to His Throne of Grace.  It is here where we will feel His loving arms wrapped around us.  In our time of need, Jesus will never abandon us.  He will stay by our side and help us through the most difficult times.  When we receive God's Grace, we receive God's great love and mercy.

Forgiveness Comes From The Heart

Then Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.' And they cast lots to divide his clothing.

In chapter 7 of my third book, Jesus reminds us that true forgiveness comes from the heart.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

The love I have for you and all mankind is great.  Allow My love to penetrate deeply into your wounded heart.  Humans may hurt you unintentionally but have no fear or dread of them.  Allow Me to heal the hurt you feel deep inside your heart.  Sometimes My dear children bury pain from the past deep inside their heart and do not realize it.  Allow Me to bring the painful past to the surface so that I may begin a healing process within you.  When you truly forgive someone from the heart, you will not remember the offense the next time you see the person.  Forgiving one another from the heart is not easy to do but by My help, anything can be forgiven.  Blessed are you when this is accomplished.

Many times, throughout our lives we will be hurt by other people, sometimes unintentionally.  Jesus calls us to be loving and forgiving just as He is.  Forgiving one another for things that have hurt us deeply takes great strength.  It is through prayer and the strength of God alone that we will be made capable of forgiving one another.

Battles Of The Mind

Verse of the day - Ephesians 6:17 (NRSV)

Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

In chapter 3 of my second book, Jesus tells us that when we follow Him we will face many great battles.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Many times, My dear children are reluctant to become My disciples.  This is because of fear.  With Me by your side, you have nothing to fear.  I will be with you always.  Not even the devil can defeat you when you follow My lead.  Be strong in your faith and have courage.  The devil will be defeated.  When you work for Me as a disciple, you will face many great battles.  Many times, these battles will take place in the mind.  The devil, your enemy, will try to tell you that what you feel you are to do is not right.  He will try to lead you astray so that you will not bring others to know Me as their Lord and Savior.  I say to you, be strong and fight against the devil every day by putting on the Armor of God.  By putting on My Armor, you will be able to stand up against the evil things that the devil tries to throw at you every day.

When we become disciples for our Lord, Jesus Christ, we will face many battles.  Many times, the devil will try to lead us in a different direction so that we will not be able to lead others back to Christ.  Doing God's work can be scary, but with the help of Jesus, we will succeed. One way that we are helped is through the Armor that God gives to us to put one.  Through His Armor, we are protected from the wiles of the devil.  In Ephesians chapter 6, it tells us about the Armor of God.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.  Put on the whole armour of God, so that you you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.  Therefore take up the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.  Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness.  As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace.  With all of these, take the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The Divine Feast In Heaven

Jesus said to them, 'I am the bread of life.  Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

In chapter 3 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about The Eucharist.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul.

When someone passes from this life and has partaken of Me while on earth, they join Me at My true banquet forever in Heaven.  This is where the Divine Feast is.  It should be everyone's goal to join Me here in Heaven.  This is when the true celebration of life begins.  Just as I said in the Lord's Prayer, "Give us this day our daily bread," so I say to you, receive Me each day in The Eucharist.  When you receive Me each day, your life will become one of worship and praise.  I long to be with each and every one of you.  I love you and desire to share My life with you.  So come to My Feast and partake of My Body.  Through this gift, I am with you always.

Jesus gave us two great gifts.  The first one was when He gave up His life and died upon the cross for the sins of the world.  The other one was the gift of The Eucharist which He instituted at The Last Supper.  Through the gift of The Eucharist, Jesus is with us until the end of time.  Each time we receive The Eucharist, we receive Jesus into our heart.  He is truly present - Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity.  Each time I receive The Eucharist, I gain strength to face my day.  No matter what may come my way, I am able to handle the situations of life much better.  The Eucharist is food for the soul.  Thank you Jesus for this gift!

No One Is Refused By God

Verse of the day- Matthew 18:14 (NRSV)

So it is not the will of your Father in heaven that one of these little ones should be lost.

In chapter 7 of my fifth book, Jesus reminds us that He refuses no one.

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ

I desire none of My dear children to be lost.  Should they wander from their faith, I will send someone to them to help lead them back to Me.  I am the Divine Shepherd.  I watch over My dear children always.  There is much rejoicing in Heaven when My dear children find their way back to Me.  I call upon those of you who know Me as their Lord and Savior to help lead others back to Me.  I am always here waiting patiently for the lost children of this world to return to Me with their whole heart.  I will refuse no one.

Jesus is the Good Shepherd.  We are His sheep.  At some point in our lives, we all go astray like lost sheep.  Sheep are lost without the shepherd to guide them.  When we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will know His voice and follow Him.  If we stray from our faith at some point in our life, Jesus will send someone into our life to help lead us back to Him.  When we find our way back to Him, there is much rejoicing in Heaven.  No matter how far we stray in our faith, Jesus will always be waiting for us to return to Him with open arms.  

Love One Another

Verses of the day - John 13:34-35 (NRSV)

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.  Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

In chapter 7 of my fourth book, Jesus calls us to show kindness and love to one another.

Excerpt from Called By God

I call you to be My Own.  Allow Me to direct the steps of your life.  Help lead others back to Me.  When you know Me as your Lord and Savior, I will show you how to help My dear children  of this world.  Many are lost and lonely.  Show kindness to one another and allow others to feel My love.  Love one another as I love you. 

God's love is everlasting.  He loves us so much that He sacrificed His life for us by dying on the cross.  This is what true love looks like.  Jesus calls us to love one another in the same way.  Through bad experiences, many people do not know what it is like to be loved.  If we step out in faith and help one another, those who once felt unlovable will feel God's love through us.  This is how God's love will spread throughout the world.  When we share God's love with one another, they in turn will share what they experienced with others.

Hell Is A Real Place

Do not be astonished at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and will come out - those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.

In chapter 4 of my third book, Jesus reminds us that Hell is a real place.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

For those who do not know Me as their Lord and Savior, they will spend eternity apart from Me.  I desire no one to spend eternity apart from Me in the fires of Hell.  Hell is a real place.  It is a place of torment where non-believers will spend eternity.  I beg of My dear children to repent and turn back to Me, so that at the end of time you may be saved. 

If we repent of our sins, and turn back to the ways of God, at the end of time we will be saved.  When we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will spend eternity in Heaven.

Draw Strength From God

Verse of the day - Psalm 28:7 (NRSV)

The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.

In chapter 5 of my second book, Jesus reminds us that we can draw strength from Him.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

When you come to know Me as your Lord and Savior, you will desire to follow Me and do My Will.  Many times, My dear children will be afraid to do as I ask.  Draw your strength from Me and do not rely on man's ideas.  Your friends and family may have good intentions, but they do not know what My plan is for you in this life.  Learn to listen to My voice and follow what My plans are for your life.  This joy will not be taken away from you.  Always cling to Me.  When you cling tightly to Me, any problem you face can be overcome.

When we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, many times we will be afraid to do as God asks us to do.  If we cling tightly to Him, and draw strength from Him, we will be able to accomplish any task that He sets before us.  His plans are greater than our plans.  Even if we feel that we are unqualified to do the work that God has assigned us to do, with His help all things are possible.

Never Alone

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff-they comfort me.

In chapter 8 of my first book, Jesus reminds us that we are never alone on our journey through life.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Even if everyone abandons you, I will always be by your side.  I will never leave you standing alone.  Come before Me with all of your hopes, dreams, and fears.  Bring all of your anger, hurts, bitterness and resentment to Me.  I will allow you to feel peace like no one else can.  Live your life one day at a time with Me by your side.  Come and relax in My Presence.  Blessings will flow in abundance when you follow My Will.  Come before Me and rejoice for all of your blessings.

As we live our lives, we sometimes may feel as though we are all alone with no one to talk to.  Even if this is the case, we will never be alone because Jesus walks beside us everyday of our life.  When we come to Jesus with the things of this world which weigh us down, He will help us and bring us peace.  Let us all come before Jesus and release to Him the problems we face in everyday life.

God's Great Love

Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life.  Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who believes in me will never die.  Do you believe this?

In chapter 12 of my fifth book, Jesus speaks to us about dying upon the cross.

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ.

Even though I did not want to die upon the cross, I did it for the love of My dear children.  I love everyone so much that I was willing to give up My Life for you.  Are you willing to do the same for Me?  Are you willing to give up your old way of living to follow Me?  Be bold in your faith and do not let anything hold you back.  Just as I laid down My Life for My dear children, I desire you to do the same for Me.  Do not follow the ways of the world.  Follow Me and teach My other dear children about Me.  Draw those who have lost their way back to Me.  Through My guidance I will lead the way and show you how to help the dear children of this world.

On this Good Friday, let us remember the tremendous sacrifice of Jesus.  He gave up His life by being crucified on the cross so that we may be redeemed through His Precious Blood.  Thank you Jesus!

Adopted By God

 April 17, 2025

Verse of the day - 1 John 4:19 (NRSV)

We love because he first loved us.

In chapter 7 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that we have been adopted by Him.

Excerpt from Called By God.

My dear children, I have adopted you as My own.  I love you and you are Mine.  Come before Me in your time of need.  Like a loving father, I am also here for My dear children.  I will never leave you or forsake you.  Come, take My hand and allow Me to lead the way.  I am the Way Maker.  When you place your needs in My hands, you will find the answers you need.  Blessed are you when you allow Me to help you.

As adopted children of God, we are truly blessed.  Jesus loves us so much that He gave up His life for us.  Through the shedding of His Blood, we are made whole.  We receive forgiveness for our sins and are made righteous in the eyes of God.  Through the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross, God sees us as good.  We were made in His image, and Jesus lives inside each one of us.  He desires us to live as He lived.  When we live as Jesus did, we do what is morally correct.  We follow His Ways, and not the ways of the world.

Forever In Heaven

Verse of the day - Daniel 12:3 (NRSV)

Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

In chapter 4 of my third book, Jesus tells us that our bodies will be made whole in Heaven.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

At the end of time, when the last trumpet sounds, everyone who lived on earth and believed in Me will be raised up from their graves.  They will join Me forever in Heaven, and their bodies will become whole once again.  When someone passes away, their soul leaves their body behind.  At the end of time, those who believed in Me will have their body and soul reunited.  This will be a joyous day.  There will be singing and dancing in Heaven among the angels.

It should be everyone's desire to be made whole in body and soul at the end of time.  If we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, when we pass away from this life, our soul leaves our body to be united with Jesus in Heaven.  He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.  What a glorious day that will be!

Standing Up To The Devil

Put on the whole armour of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

In chapter 5 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about standing up to the devil.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Many times, My dear children suffer at the hands of the devil.  The devil knows when you are weak in your spiritual life.  Standing up to the devil and doing what you know is right is what needs to be done.  Be not afraid to stand up for what you believe in.  I will give you the strength you need.  I am with you every step of the way.

The devil knows where our weaknesses are.  When we are strong in our faith, he will come after us with his tactics to try to get us to stray from God.  In order to help us defeat the devil, God has given us the armor of God to wear.  When we fasten The Belt of Truth around our waist, we do not give in to the way the world believes and we live according to the way the Bible teaches.  The Breastplate of Righteousness means that we are honest and fair to others.  We shod our feet with The Gospel of Peace and we will be content when times become difficult to bear.  Through The Shield of Faith we are protected when we are tempted to doubt.  When we put on The Helmet of Salvation, we believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead.  By using The Sword Of The Spirit, we defend our faith when we tell others what the Bible says.  The Word of God is true.  Through wearing God's Armor, we will be protected.

 

Becoming Disciples For Christ

The word of God continued to spread; the number of the disciples increased greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.

In chapter 2 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about becoming disciples.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

I desire more people to become My disciples.  Discipleship is hard, and people will come against you.  Do not be afraid of them.  When you become one of My disciples, you will begin speaking My words to other people.  I love everyone the same.  You are all My children, and there is nothing that will happen to you that I don't already know about.  I do not allow anything to happen to you that you and I cannot handle together.  Everyone who believes in Me will be protected by the Blood of the Lamb.  I am the Lamb that was slain for all mankind.  It is by My Blood that everyone who believes in Me is saved.

Jesus is calling out to us to become disciples for Him.  When we know Him as our Lord and Savior, He desires us to become His disciples.  In order to draw more people back to the bright light of Christ, we need to share our faith and knowledge of Jesus with one another.  When we become disciples for Christ, many times, people will come against us.  With Jesus by our side, we should not fear whatever may come our way because Jesus will always have our back.  He will be with us every step of the way.

The Supper Of The Lamb

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ

When My dear children who believe in Me get to Heaven, that will be a day of great rejoicing.  Blessed are those who  believe.  Come and rejoice with Me at The Supper of the Lamb.  Behold I have prepared a place for you at My Table.  Come and partake with Me at the great feast I have prepared for all who know Me as their Lord and Savior.  Gather around My table with Me.  Everyone whether great or small while living on earth will be there.  

The Path Of Life

Excerpt from Called By God

I do indeed show you the path of life.  I walk beside you every day of your life.  I will be your guide.  Take My Hand and allow Me to lead the way.  Step by step, we will walk on the path of life together.

When we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, He will be our guide.  We are never alone as we journey through life.  Jesus is right there beside us every step of the way.  He is waiting for us to reach out our hand and take a hold of His.  As we journey through life, let us all reach out and take the hand of Jesus and allow Him to guide us.

Fighting Off Temptation

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

In chapter 1 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about how to overcome temptation.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Be not afraid to stand up to the devil.  Be firm and speak out against the devil.  By quoting scripture to him while he was trying to tempt Me, he lost his battle.  Pray to Me when you are tempted.  I will help you fight off any temptation thrown at you.

We all face temptations of some kind during our life.  Even Jesus endured the temptation of the devil while He was in the desert.  Even though Jesus was tempted by the devil, He did not sin.  Through His endurance and quoting Scripture, the devil lost his battle.  When we are faced with temptation in our lives, if we reach out to God in prayer, He will help us overcome our temptations.  Through standing up to the devil and through our prayers, we will be able to overcome any temptation.

Knowing Jesus As Lord And Savior

Verse of the day - John 4:39 (NRSV)

Many Samaritans from that city believed in him because of the woman's testimony, 'He told me everything I have ever done.'

In chapter 12 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about the woman of Samaria.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

When you come to know Me as your Lord and Savior as the woman of Samaria did, many great things will happen to you.  You will proclaim the Good News of Salvation to other people that you meet.  It is My great desire that My dear children will share what they know about Me with others.  Many of My dear children do not know about Me.  It is My Will that you should share My great love with other people.  The more you share My love with other people, the more they will come to know Me through you.

When we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we should take lessons from the woman of Samaria.  When she had the wonderful opportunity to meet Jesus face to face, and learned that He was the Messiah, she could not wait to share the Good News!  When we share the Good News of Salvation with other people, many times, they too will come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  It is our responsibility to help spread the Good News of Salvation.  Jesus desires us to share what we know with others.

God Will Provide For What We Need

You shall not steal.

In chapter 10 of my first book, Jesus reminds us that He will provide for us.

Excerpt from Spirituality, A Journey For My Soul

Do not take from someone else.  I give to each person what they need to survive.  No one likes to have what is rightfully theirs taken away from them.  If you are having trouble with meeting your day to day needs, seek help from someone who is capable of finding what you need.  Another form of stealing is when you cheat on tests.  By cheating, you are stealing the answers.

God will always provide for all of our needs. It is our human nature to worry about how we will survive when we are struggling to meet our day to day needs.  In Luke 12:27-28 it speaks to us about how God will provide for us.  

Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these.  But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you - you of little faith! (Luke 12:27-28)

Called By God

Verse of the day - Joshua 1:5 (NRSV)

No one shall be able to stand against you all the days of your life.  As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.

In chapter 2 of my fifth book, Jesus assures us that He will lead the way to show us what He desires us to do.

Excerpt from Pathway To Christ

Many of My dear children are afraid to do what I ask of them.  I call many to follow Me and help Me to bring other dear children back to My loving arms.  Life can be scary but have no fear.  I will lead the way and show you what I desire you to do.  Step by step I will lead the way.  Take My hand and allow Me to help you.  Together we can make a difference in the world.

We are all called by God in different ways.  Sometimes it may be difficult to know what we are supposed to do.  When it has been made clear to us by God what He desires us to do, we should allow Him to lead the way.  Even  when we are afraid, Jesus will show us what we are to do.  When we are given an assignment to do by God, it will never be easy.  No matter how difficult the job is, if we place everything in His Hands everything will be OKAY.  When we work side by side with Jesus, we can make a difference in the world, one person at a time.  When we teach someone about the love of Jesus, they will in turn teach someone else.  This is how the love of God is spread.  Let us all take each other by the hand and spread the love of God around the world.
