By His Stripes We Are Healed

Verse of the day - Isaiah 53:5 (NRSV)

But he was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the punishment that made us whole, and by his bruises we are healed.

In chapter 10 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about the great love He has for us.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

By My stripes, everyone who believes in Me is saved from final condemnation.  I have deemed everyone worthy of My love.  I love everyone equally.  There are no words to describe how deep My love is for My dearly beloved children.  In your times of times of trial and suffering, I am with you always.  I will never leave you.  Be not afraid to pour your heart out before Me.  I can heal your broken heart.  Come and rest with Me.  Find My peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. 

If we experience times in our life when we feel as though we cannot cope with what we are facing, Jesus will pick us up and carry us.  He will not allow any harm to come to us.  We are His beloved children.  We are precious in His sight.  There is nothing in this life that we could do to cause us to lose the love of God.  Even if we feel unlovable, Jesus still loves us with a never-ending love.  His love for us is so great that He gave His own life for us so that one day we may live with Him forever in Paradise!  By the shedding of His blood on the cross, we have been redeemed from final condemnation!

Ask God For Guidance

In chapter 8 of my first book, Jesus tells us that we can come to Him for guidance.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Come to Me for guidance.  I will not let you down.  I know your situation better than anyone else, and I will be able to lead you in the right direction.  By releasing everything over to Me, you will be released from all of your fears.  Be not afraid to release everything over to Me.  Allow Me to walk beside you each day of your earth life.  When you do this, you will experience great joy.  I will give you overwhelming joy and freedom from all of your fears.

Place Your Trust In God

Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.

In chapter 8 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about placing our trust in Him.

Excerpt from Called By God

When you place your trust in Me, I will give you the desires of your heart, provided it is part of My Divine Will.  I desire My dear children to become committed to Me.  I have great plans for many of My dear children.  Commit your ways to Me and I will show you the way.  Be not afraid to follow Me.

When we commit our ways to the LORD, He will show us the path which He desires us to take.  Jesus desires us to allow Him to take us by the hand, to lead and guide us in the direction He desires us to go.  We all have a designated path in life which God desires us to take.  We are all called to help one another on this journey called life.

Stand Up For Your Beliefs

Yet if any of you suffers as a Christian, do not consider it a disgrace, but glorify God because you bear this name.

In chapter 5 of my third book, Jesus encourages us to stand up for our beliefs.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

There will be many false prophets among My dear children that will try to lead everyone astray.  Do not follow them.  Test what they tell you against My spoken words in The Bible.  If they do not match what is in The Bible, do not believe what they say.  Always follow My spoken words.  Be not afraid to stand up for your beliefs.  My disciples followed Me and stood up for what they believed in.

Just as the disciples stood up for what they believed in, Jesus desires us to do the same.  We should never be afraid to share our faith with others.  If we do not know what to say to someone, we can ask Jesus for help He will guide our words.

Journey Of Faith

The light shines in the darkness and the darkness did not overcome it.

In chapter 6 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about helping one another on our Journey of faith.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

It is everyone's responsibility to help one another on their journey of faith.  If you see one of My beloved children struggling in their faith life, help them by sharing your faith with them.  Be the light that shines in the darkness.  For many of My dear children who have lost their way, their light has grown dim.  When you share your light with them, they will find their way back to Me.  Many times, My dear children are afraid to speak up on My behalf because they do not know what to say.  Be not afraid My little ones.  I will give you the words to speak.  There is much rejoicing in Heaven for each of My beloved children who finds their way back to Me.

When we see someone struggling in their faith life, it is our responsibility to help them.  We may be uncomfortable and not know what to say, but Jesus will always show us the way.  Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.  The only way to Heaven is through Jesus.  When we show one another the great love of Jesus, many times, they will come to know Him as their Lord and Savior.  Just as Jesus has told us, "There is much rejoicing in Heaven when someone who has lost their way finds their way back to Him."  This should be everyone's goal, to find someone who is struggling in their faith life and lead them back to Jesus.

The Big Picture

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.

In chapter 2 of my first book, Jesus tells us that only He knows the big picture.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Many times, friends and family will try to give you advice.  They have good intentions, but do not place your faith in what they say.  Only I know the big picture.  Listen to My voice and follow Me.  I will lead you through rough waters to be where you need to be.  Everything will work out for the best.  Be not afraid.  I will bring you peace of mind.

 Many times when we have problems in life we will turn to friends and family to help us, but only God truly knows the answer.  Even if we do not realize it, God is always with us.  During life's storms when everything seems to be going wrong, that is when God is closest to us.  He carries our cross for us when we feel we cannot carry on.  He knows and sees everything that happens to us.  

Jesus desires us to come to Him in total dependence.  When we trust Him with all our heart, we have nothing to fear.  God will always provide for all of our needs.

Cling To Jesus

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff- they comfort me.

In chapter 6 of my fourth book, Jesus tells us that we can cling to Him.

Excerpt from Called By God

I will always be a Shepherd to My people.  My dear children, I will never leave you.  When you feel as though you cannot carry on, cling to Me.  I will make a way when there seems to be no way.  I send other people your way to help you.  Nobody is in your life by chance.  Everyone has a purpose in life.

 Many times, in life we worry about things that we have no control over.  Whether we worry about the things that happened in the past, present, or could possibly happen in the future, God is in control.  He will always take care of us, and He desire us to put our faith and trust in Him.

Sharing The Love Of Jesus

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways.  For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face.  Now I know only in part; then I will fully, even as I have been fully known.

In chapter 3 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about sharing His love with other people.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

The more My words are shared, the more of My dear children will be saved.  Be not afraid to lead others to the foot of the cross to receive My great love and mercy.  Blessed are you when you share My love with other brothers and sisters in Christ.  You are all My beloved children and I desire everyone to come to Me.  Behold My glory.  You will feel My Presence when you know Me as your Lord and Savior.  It is up to My dear children to share the love of My Presence.  How great is My love.

The love of God is so great.  His name is to be greatly praised!  We are so blessed when we have the opportunity to come into the Presence of God.  Before we come to know Jesus as out Lord and Savior, we as little children, go our own way.  We follow the ways of the world because we do not know any better.  Once we come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we will follow the ways of Christ instead of the ways of the world.  It is our duty to bring our fellow brothers and siters to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Even if we are not brothers and sisters by blood relation, we are under the mighty hand of God!

Doing God's Work

For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.

In chapter 10 of my second book, Jesus tells us that He has deemed us worthy.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

Sometimes My beloved children feel as though they are not worthy to do My work.  Everyone was made in My own image.  I sacrificed My life on the cross and therefore you are deemed worthy.  Everyone is worthy of My love.  Receive My peace and love.  Be not afraid to do My work.  There is much work to be done for My coming kingdom.  I desire more of My dear children to help build up My kingdom.

Sometimes we are called by God to do His work.  We may be afraid to pursue what God has placed before us, but with God by our side, we should have nothing to fear.  He will lead and guide us in the right direction.  If we are called to speak on His behalf and do not know what to say, God will give us the  words to say.  Even though we should not be afraid to speak on God's behalf, sometimes as humans we still fear.  Sometimes the fear of doing God's work is because we, ourselves, feel unworthy.

Born Again

The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.  So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.

In chapter 2 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about being born again.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

When a person is born again, they turn from their old ways.  They no longer desire watching certain TV shows.  They refrain from taking My name in vain.  They attend church services on a weekly basis.  They also begin to pray more.  Being born again doesn't happen overnight.  It's a slow process.  Over time it will happen.  Once you are born to a new life in Christ, I ask that you pray for other people to do the same.

Jesus spoke to Nicodemus about being born again.  He desires us to be born again also.  To be born again, we must change our ways so that we become more like Jesus.  Before we come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we follow the ways of the world.  We are like Nicodemus.  We don't understand anything other than earthly things.  However, when a person is born again, they begin to see things in a new light.  A born again person sees things from Jesus' point of view, and the begin to follow His ways instead of the ways of the world.   When we walk with Jesus, we are attached to each other like two oxen in a yoke.  Just as the oxen work together as a team to lighten the load, we also should walk with Jesus by our side..  If we do this, it lightens our load, and we are able to cope with our problems much better.

Share Your Faith

Excerpt from Called By God

Sharing your faith with others is part of being My disciple.  I sent My original twelve disciples out among the people to share the Good News of the Gospel.  In sharing their faith and teaching what they knew, many came to know Me.  This is what I desire of My dear followers today.  Be bold in your faith life and proclaim what you know to others who do not yet know Me as their Lord and Savior.  By sharing the Gospel with My beloved children who do not yet know Me, many will be saved.  Plant seeds of knowledge and wisdom among My dear children.  I will make them grow.

Hearing God's Voice

Allow Me to come into your heart and soul.  This is where I desire to live.  You are a tabernacle for the Holy Spirit to reside in.  Treat your body as a temple, for this is where I live.  I live inside of you each day of your life.  Listen in the silence to hear My small still voice calling out to you.

Seed Of Hope

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

If you see someone who has lost their way, gently take them by the hand and lead them back to Me, the Divine Shepherd.  If you plant a seed of hope and love in them, over time I will allow it to grow.  Then after the seed of love and faith grows, they will in turn pass it on to someone else.

In chapter 4 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about taking up our cross.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Come and be united with Me.  I desire My dear children to be united with Me while living on earth.  Come and follow Me.  Take up your cross and do as I desire you to do.  Behold the cross.  There will always be trials in life.  Bring them to the cross.  Talk with Me about what concerns you.  Pour your heart out before Me.  Only I truly understand what you are going though in life.  When you come before the cross and leave your cares, you will leave refreshed and renewed.  I will lighten your load and ease your pain.

We all face various trials in our life.  When we struggle and bring everything to God in prayer at the foot of the cross, He will hear our prayers and answer us in His timing and according to His Holy Will.  No matter what kind of concern we have, Jesus will always be there for us.  He understands our situation better than anyone on earth ever could.  When we come before the cross and release everything over to God, He will bring us great comfort.  We will feel refreshed, renewed, and have a great sense of peace.

God's Amazing Grace

In chapter 5 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about the forgiveness He offers.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

The sins of this world are great, yet I forgive all, great and small.  I desire everyone to avoid sin whenever possible.  Everyone sins and it is by My grace that sins are forgiven.  Many times the sins of this world can be avoided.  Sometimes My dear children sin without even realizing it.  Whether the sins that have been committed are intentional or unintentional, I forgive them anyways.  By My Blood alone can this be done.

Many times, there are hidden sins in our lives.  We sin without even realizing it.  Once the Holy Spirit convicts us, we will realize what we did.  After that, we need to work on the areas of our lives where we have been shown that we need to improve.  Every time we sin, we are drawn further and further away from the light of Christ.  Sin causes us to feel empty on the inside.  Once we realize the areas of our lives where we have sinned we need to confess our sins before God. When we seek God's forgiveness, we are freed from the power of sin.

Redemption through Christ

In chapter 3 of my fourth book, Jesus speaks to us about redemption.

Excerpt from Called By God

Since sin entered the world through one man, I was sent to redeem the world of the sins committed by My dear children.  Through My great love and sacrifice, I spread out My arms on the cross and died for the sins of the world.  I bore the weight of the world on My shoulders.  Come to Me and be set free from your sins.  Be not afraid for I went before you to set you free.  Receive My peace and glory.  I forgive all sins.  Learn to forgive one another and yourselves for past mistakes.  Leave the past behind and live one day at a time.

Sin entered the world through Adam and Eve.  From the beginning of mankind, we have had a sinful nature.  Through God's great love and mercy, He sent Jesus to earth to redeem us from our sins.  By His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead, we were given a chance for eternal life.   When we believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we will be granted eternal life in Heaven.  We all make mistakes in life.  Jesus desires us to come before Him, leave our mistakes at the cross, and live one day at a time.  When we live one day at a time and release our cares and worries of this world over to Him, we will be at peace.

Facing Persecution

If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the spirit of glory, which is the Spirit of God, is resting on you.

In chapter 5 of my third book Jesus speaks to us about facing persecution.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

Blessed are you when you are persecuted for your beliefs.  Be not afraid to stand up against the evil ways of the world.  If you follow the ways of the world, the people of this world will love you.  I ask that you follow My Ways instead.  You may live in this world, but I ask that you do not follow the ways of it.  In the end, there will be much hatred toward My followers.  Follow Me anyways.  Times will be hard but in the end everything will be worth it.  Endure to the end and you shall be saved.  Take up your crosses and follow Me.  This is part of being crucified with Me.  Many are the crosses that My dear children bear when they follow Me.

Jesus suffered greatly on the cross when He died for the sins of the world.  With this great sacrifice, we are saved.   Jesus desires us to follow Him instead of the ways of the world.  When we do, we will endure many trials but we will be truly blessed.

A Life Of Service

For he will repay according to each one's deeds: to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honour and immortality, he will give eternal life.

In chapter 2 of my second book Jesus speaks to us about a life of service.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me

I always bring new people into your life.  Everyone you meet is there for a reason.  I call you to a life of service.  Many times, My dear children miss their calling in life because they do not hear My voice.  Be not afraid to do what I ask of you.  People will come and go.  Sometimes I send someone to you for a lifetime.

We have been chosen by God to proclaim the good news of salvation.  He desires us to spread His words among everyone we meet.  Anytime we get a nudge from the Holy Spirit to say or do something, we need to listen to what God is calling us to do.  Many times, we will be the only  person who will take the time to be with that person and listen to them.

Glorify God In Successes

In chapter 5 of my first book, Jesus speaks to us about glorifying Him in our success.

Excerpt from Spirituality A Journey For My Soul

Remember to glorify Me in your successes.  By My power alone can things be accomplished.  When you brag about your accomplishments and do not acknowledge Me, that is when pride becomes sinful.  Be not afraid to speak about how I helped you to succeed.  Sometimes this is how My dear children learn of Me.  There are many around the world who do not even know who I am.  When you glorify Me it will sometimes spark curiosity in someone who has never heard of Me.  It is through this curiosity that many times My dear children are saved.  Humble yourselves before Me and you shall be saved.

Pride is one of the most common sins that needs to be uprooted from our heart.  It is okay to be proud of our accomplishments but we must remember to give God the praise He deserves.  Through God all things are possible.  He will always lead us in the right direction and help us to succeed.  

Mercy

Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.

In chapter 2 of my third book, Jesus speaks to us about extending mercy to one another.

Excerpt from Come To The Cross

I am a merciful God.  I bestow mercy upon everyone and forgive all sins.  In return, have mercy upon those who offend you.  Do not hold it against them.  They know not what they do.  As I was dying on the cross for the sins of the world, I extended My mercy to those who nailed Me to the cross.  I asked My Father in Heaven to forgive them because they did not realize what they were doing.  By showing mercy to those who did Me harm, I left an example for My dear children to follow.  Being merciful to one another is hard to do, but with My help this can be achieved.  Rely not on your own power.  By your power alone, this cannot be achieved.

  

Eternity In Heaven

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.

In chapter 4 of my second book, Jesus speaks to us about Eternal Life.

Excerpt from Come Back To Me.

Eternal life, this is what I have to offer you.  Come and give your life and love over to Me, and you will inherit eternal life with Me.  This should be everyone's desire, to spend eternity in Heaven with Me.  I am here waiting for you and want to bring you home.  Life on earth may be hard but I am with you through it all.  Bring your cares before Me, and I will help you.

Jesus loves us so much that He gave up His life for us so that one day we may be able to spend eternity in Heaven with Him.  As we live our lives, Jesus desires us to follow in His ways.  Life can be hard, but we can call on Jesus anytime.  Whether it is in the middle of the day, or in the middle of the night, He will always be there for us.
